Our cats utterly adore this catnip and silvervine mix. The little addicts weren't satisfied with boring straight catnip anymore, so I started trying different brands and blends. This particular brand and mix were an immediate big hit. Our cats got blissfully bonked out. Catnip and catnip blends really vary wildly in quality and scent from brand to brand, but SmartyKat always makes the cats happy. While trying out other brands, about 95% ended up being returned because the cats would either ignore the stuff or would try to bury it. Some had no scent at all, others smelled weirdly funky, and a few smelled almost like male cat spray. SmartyKat has a strong but pleasant scent. It's not overwhelming to where a big area around where this was sprinkled only smells of catnip. We take non-plastic cat toys and put them in a glass jar with a fair amount of kitty weed, and after a week the toys are pulled out, dusted off, and the cats go wild. The only thing we've found our cats like more than this SmartyKat blend is straight silvervine.

Cats love it! Doesn't smell bad. Made all three of my cats roll around where I poured it, on my kitchen floor only because it's easier to sweep up than to vacuum up on the carpet. My three cats ages range from 6 months old, a year and a half old, and an 11 year old. They ALL loved it. It's like cat crack! Definitely recommend. And most of all, it's safe. I'm very protective of my babies and take great pride in taking care of all three of them on a daily basis. It makes me happy to see them happy. Especially because none of them go outside. They are strictly indoor cats because I live in a mountainous area with lots of wild life... Bears, mountain lions, both that I've physically seen on my property on many different occasions. Plus, it's my duty as a cat guardian to keep them not only safe, but healthy and not letting them go outside avoids them getting infected by a long list of diseases, parasites and worms.

This catnip shaker is a game-changer! As soon as I sprinkle a little on their toys or scratching post, my cats instantly perk up and go absolutely wild. They roll around, purr like crazy, and play for way longer than usual.I love how easy it is to use — just a quick shake and the fun begins. The catnip seems super fresh and potent, and a little goes a long way. It’s also great for recharging older toys they’ve lost interest in.If your cats love catnip, you need this in your home. The shaker part doesn't work too well, and my cat kind-of liked it, but I gave it to my friend's cat and that cat went ham for it, so I guess most of it was my boring cat who doesn't really care about catnip. I didn't notice a difference between this and non-silvervine catnip.

My cat was never interested in catnip, but she loved this! She doesn't act like the other cats did with catnip. She doesn't get the zoomies, but she finds something to play with for a while, and then she wants pets, instead of a nap like the other kitties.

My kitties have never been fond of "just" catnip. I decided to try this because of the reviews of others who said their cats really like this. What the heck. Why not?Well, they were right! My non-catnip loving cat (who's 12 stubborn) absolutely loves this. I sprinkle it on her scratch pad and she rubs her face in it and scratches and essentially gets me laughing Because she's now on the nip."I will definitely be buying this again because she loves it, her "cousin" loves it, and I'm just happy to find something that really gives them such a good feeling. Highly recommended.

This is great, it literally got a cat at the front door within hours of sprinkling some. Very impressed and cat loved it! There’s a ton in this package as well. Hoping to get more cats soon!

Maybe have a dedicated spot by a window and/or a cat-bed that you give them the nip, or just throw this stuff all over the place and let your cats run wild, it's your choice.But having a shaker makes it nice for old people and/or disabled people so you don't have to lean or bend.Just make it rain until your cat's faded.
