Leaks
I suspect threads are not tapered. All ends of the tee leak (with tape and paste). Additionally, the female end threads aren't long enough, cannot tighten anything in there.

Lack tapered threads
These fittings do not have tapered threads, and as a result they will leak under normal house water pressure no matter how much thread dope or teflon tape you use. Buyer beware.

No Tapered Threads
150% defective! Do not trust reviews that say otherwise!It might work if every side of it had a hose with a gasket, but any connections that require teflon tape, FORGET IT!I literally counted how many wraps I did around each end until it finally stopped leaking. 40 wraps per side was my average. Then I added paste just to be safe.If you wanna have a really long and frustrating night, go for it! This thing is junk!

Poorly cut threads render this fitting useless. No amount of Teflon tape will seal this chattered mess.
