Most modern, ultra thin laptop computers don't come with many sockets and ports. In fact some don't come with any at all. Progress huh? In my case, my laptop has a single USB C port, so this hub is an invaluable aid in adding a huge dollop of compatibility and connectivity to my computer.With this hub I can now connect to a television or external monitor through the HDMI ports. I can also connect a web camera and microphone headset through the USB ports. And I'm sure the memory card slots will prove useful eventually.I'm satisfied with this purchase. The hub looks stylish next to my laptop and all the functions perform great. This multi-purpose hub is the equivalent of a Swiss Army Kinfe for laptops and I would happily recommend it. Great product.

Working from home, work provided me with a £150 hp dock. But it doesn’t allow multiple video pass through. Buying this for under £40 and it puts 2 hdmis through it allowing me to extend with additional monitors. I have a HP elite book with a thunderbolt usb c, a standard usb c and a hdmi in it. The laptop is limited to 3 displays so either 2 additional and the laptop screen or 3 additional with laptop display off. I think a lot of HP laptops are like this. But this product allows me to have 3 total displays all extended as shown in the photo. 2 hdmis through the product and one in the laptop. This is as well as supplying power through the device and connecting multiple usb peripherals. Excellent value.

One of the banes of my life these days is the lack of proper ports on modern devices - I know there's a trade-off to be made if you want things to look sleek and thin, but it does drive me nuts literally only having a single USB-C connection on a device!The solution is a USB-C Hub like this one, which should just about cover everything you need. I needed both one that works with my MacBook but also one that would work with my daughter's iPad Pro, which again only has a single USB-C connector. This is particularly frustrating as she uses it for music and we wanted to use a 3.5mm audio jack and of course it no longer has one as standard. This however does provide one and it does the job perfectly. The next thing we want to try is using an iRig adaptor connected to this to input a guitar to the iPad, which I'm hoping should work OK.This device is small and neat and solidly built and simple to use. If, like me, you are suffering from lack of expansion port blues then this should provide all the extra connectivity you need.

I do lectures at a University that still uses VGA connections for its overhead projectors. I also have an Ultrabook with limited USB slots. This expansion device is simply perfect with its combination of USB ports for the keyboard and mouse, VGA for external projector, HDMI slots for my screen and SD card for photos. This simple unit finally combines all the slots I need to use during my lectures. It is also well made, it looks smart and is small enough to fit in my jacket pocket.Overall this is a well-made product, that is so useful, especially if you have a laptop with limited slots. I am very happy to recommend it.

This docking station does exactly what I wanted it to, which was to connect my laptop to two monitors - one HDMI and one SVGA. I've also got a USB headset plugged in. Installation was simply a matter of plugging it in to the USB-C connector on the laptop, although I did have to disconnect then reconnect it for the monitors to work. I am able to have the 2 monitors and the laptop screen showing 3 screens independently, although they could all display the same if that's what you wanted. This doesn't need a separate power supply, although I believe you could plug it into one and then the laptop would be charged by it.It was also a lot smaller than I was expecting, which is a good thing.

A very good type c hub for my iPad.Upgraded from a older + smaller version.This has more usb slots / hdmi slots/ even another type c slot! And 3.5mm audio jack ( win win!)Pro : good solid mettalic build.Good length of cable. has a led indicator.Con: not much , maybe a bit big. But got used to it now.

Used it for about a month, here's what I think.ProsCompact and lightweight, it has all the ports you need, 2HDMI and USB CConsThe main issue with the product is a design one: it has too short a cable from the laptop to the hub itself. Thus, it is difficult to make the 2HDMI cables and wires from e.g. your mouse to fit in a tight space. In turn,this defies the benefit of the hub itself being so compact.Moreover, if you bend the cable connecting the hub to the laptop, you'll face connection issues, e.g. in my case the hub disconnects for a second, the screens go black and then it goes back to normal. Fine if it happens rarely, one can live with it but it's recently started to happen too frequently for my liking.

A brilliant gadget for use with laptops, MacBook, so on. As there aren’t many ports on my laptop I couldn’t use everything I needed all at once (charger, SSD, USB sticks). This has been an absolute game changer for us, allowing us to get the most out of our laptop again! Would most definitely recommend and my only regret is we didn’t buy it sooner! :)
