Control Ultimate Edition (PS4)

How have I missed this game? Didn't know much about it, didn't buy when it first came out, this definitely flew under the radar!This game is superb! 3D open world, action adventure, puzzles, powers, its not out and out horror its more mystery, X-files, Twilight Zone / Outer Limits vibe (If your old enough to remember those).Either way this is a top notch AAA title, up there with Horizon Zero Dawn, and Ghost of Tsushima in my books!And at its lower price as its been out a while definitely bargain.

Great game reminds me of the x-files in a way.Graphics are good and plays well with an interesting story.Love all the powers you unlock and it never felt like there was any major difficulty spikes. If anyone struggles you can use options to never die and one shot kill enemies- useful if you just want to experience the story (doesn’t affect trophies)When you unpause there is a lot of frame drops but nothing that is game breaking. The map isn’t the easiest to understand.

This was a game i went back and forth on for about a year. Finally picked it up and lucky for me, you get all the DLC in the Ultimate Edition as well. Great lore, great story, great abilities, just an all around good time. If you're on the fence with this one, take a chance. I'm sure you'd enjoy it!

Never heard of this game before, so I read some of the reviews as I was looking for a present. I have to say that my partner liked it a lot and so did I. It's a good travel in a futuristic/paranormal (?) Situation. Kill the bad boys, conquer your position and travel across level to discover the truth of what happened and the truth about our protagonist.

Great game but I bought for the PS5 as the box says upgrade available and I know you can only get an upgrade with this game - turns out that isn't true as an upgrade will be coming at some point in 2021 due to delays

From other reviews of Control I had an impression of what I was going to get. However, I was completelly surprised. Original, bizarre and intriguing story, excellent combat and interesting environments rich for exploration. It can sometimes lean a little too heavily on combat when you just want to explore, and the game can be a bit laggy from time to time, but otherwise I absolutely love this game.

Its a pity that Remedu decided to re release Control since this is the only version that features a ps5 upgrade the original version does not. I bought this mainly for the dlc which does come pre installed on disc. So unique you'll have tons of fun!

I can't tell you how many times during this game I have uttered the phrase wtf! I have never seen a game like this. It's weird and gripping, the building map is huge. Not what I expected but glad I bought it. Only down side is it's a bit slow at times which is why it didn't get 5*

A character on her own in a building shooting at things. I just didn't take to the game or the character but other reviewers seemed to like it. It looks OK, but after a wide world experience like the Ghost of Tsushima with great characters and amazing look, this seems almost like nothing was going on but a confused character running around from room to room. If this game had a point I missed it.

Play as a fresh faced but haunted young woman in a dystopian maze, stepping up to contend with posessed enemies that will swarm you, defeat back breaking boss fights and gain cool abilities. Enjoy captivating, addictive combat, scavenging and upgrade mechanics. Top notch graphics from Remedy knocking it out of the park again on this one. My favourite game of the 8th video game generation.

Décors épurés, parfois un peu répétitif, mais une bonne montée en puissance du personnage. Évolution des modes armes et modes personnels absolument pas intuitive... Des niveaux pas si évidents à terminer mais optionnels comme les jetons jukebox par exemple... mais des séquences qui sont franchement très plaisantes à jouer !Dans l'ensemble, sans regret.
