It’s as described and was easy to install. It works great!

Better than the old type
These were a little difficult to program but with the directions it was easer. I liked the older type These are just as good and I like the the way the battery is held in place much better than the older type

Avoid this product
This feeder is worthless. I bought this motor to replace the one I have been using. The old motor worked at first but not through a full season. This new motor has yet to work at all. The settings are also difficult to figure out. Nothing makes sense and nothing works. Wasted money and wasted days on the stand

Works good.
Works good, but could use some programming ability. You set a time in and for it to go off twice a day a picks the same time you can't interchange times between morning and night. If you set it for 7:00am it goes off at 7:00pm too be nice if you could give it a different combo like 7:00am and 3:30pm. So the animals stay in that routine instead of coming through again when it's dark in the winter.

Pros:1. Product was easy to install.2. Cover is easy to remove to access controls.Opportunity for improvement:1. Battery compartment. Needs spring added. Had to wedge sticks behind battery to hold in place.2. Enable time change on quick sets.3. Simplify programming - or better yet provide free app so can do it on phone.

Not sure about all the negative reviews
I needed to replace the entire lower portion of two feeders. Some of the reviews were so negative that I ordered two different brands. This one arrived first. Today is 11/19/24.I opened it, put a brand new battery in it, programmed it for late morning and early evening, tested it, and PERFECT…As of right now i am thrilled.Good price.Easy to operate (so easy that I didn’t open the instructions).IF it stops working and it’s not my fault - I will edit an update. Otherwise I’m happy
