Makes playing guitar easier on your fingers
I have been playing guitar for a long time. This product has been around for a long time and there’s a good reason. It is great! It reduces the friction on your fingertips, makes it easier to slide notes, and it provides a slight lubrication with no real residue. I spray a little on my acoustic guitar neck before playing. I give it one quick shot when I’m done and wipe the Guitar neck off with a nice clean cloth. I have noticed that by keeping the strings clean, it seems to extend the life of them a bit. For a few dollars, this stuff is a game changer..

Fingerease Is Good Stuff
I've used Tone Fingerease off and on for decades because it works. It has not damaged the finish of any guitar I've used it on. This stuff does make a difference, especially on guitars that already play easy. I prefer the spray/liquid stuff because I can literally see it's being applied as compared to using a pad because I don't know if the stuff is still on the pad or not.

A necessary item
This is a product I've used for years. It's the one thing that makes the most sense to me. Spray, then play. It makes me playing feel easier, makes for less string noise, and keeps my guitar neck from getting all gross from shredding. I'll always have some on hand.

Good Stuff. Try It. You’ll Like It.
Love this stuff. Used as directed the product cleans and lubes the strings and back of the neck for comfortable playing and longer string life. One can lasts me a couple of months and I play multiple guitars daily.

I won't play a gig without it
Been using Finger Ease for 60 years, first when I puddled around with folk music in high school circa 1965, then later when I got off drums and took up electric guitar to work solo. Before Finger Ease, guitarists used WD-40. Everyone was elated when non-smelly Finger Ease came along. It added life to strings when playing in the salt air of Gulf Coast casino ships in the early 2000's. This product has been around since 1963, and the packaging has barely changed in 60 years [see image] - does that tell you how many people REGULARLY use it? Still very reasonably priced, and as much a ritual as popping a Fisherman's Friend lozenge in my mouth for the voice.

Good for new strings... But some caveats
I like this stuff for new uncoated/untreated strings. I'll give the new strings a coat and they will last a little while. Also good for some strings that are on their way out but you don't want to change them yet. This will breath some life back into them for another few days. However I don't like what the directions tell you to do... To spray it all over the back of the neck and the fretboard. Not a fan. It's a gunk collector. I put a piece of paper under the strings as I spray so non of this gets on the fretboard or body. It's good for that use. Just my .02

Great product!!
I love this product for playing bass. I need a little extra slide to help move faster on the neck. This stuff really works.
