Freud is a premium tool maker
For those of you who don't know what a key hole router bit is, let me explain. It is a way to mount things to the wall and solve problems. It will also support a huge amount of weight because the slots and holes are designed to attach to a nail or screw driven into the studs. Studs are 16 inches on center. You can determine this by lightly tapping on the wall and hearing hollow sounds until you hear a heavy sound and that is the stud. Be sure to use a level so that your two nails are exactly even. You drive the nails into the studs and then mount on the holes and slots created by the router bit. It is an ingenious piece of engineering.The reason that you pay more for a Freud bit is that they do the heat tempering so that the router bit does not break like cheaper bits from China. They don't heat temper the steel and it is mild steel not really suitable for quality tools. Freud router bits are tops
There may be other good router bits. I've been happy with Freud, so I don't have a good comparison. Freud bits have always worked for me. I'm a woodworker, and not doing enough work to stress my tools. This bit cuts a very nice, small key hole. It did a plunge cut well, then the slot. Happy customer. Product as advertised.

Excelente fresa, corta perfecto por el doble filo, eso si, recomendación, perfores despacio, que ésta brocas tiene a romperse si uno se quiere apresurar, se forzan fácilmente.hay que darle su tiempo de corte y respetar las revoluciones que indican. Una vez cumplido esto, se tiene una excelente broca que no se consigue fácilmente fuera de amazon.
