Not up to Into the Wild
I have purchased all the warrior series books but this series is not nearly as good as previous sets. The last two series seemed somewhat contrived to keep the series going. The children of Firestar, Bluestar, Bramblestar etc. are doing their best but the story lines are thin and rely on past loyalty to the series to maintain interest.I can't imagine this thread continuing for four more books without the authors asking us to suspend all credibility for at least the next three books, relying on knee jerk reactions from the Clans, pages of introspection, and then wrapping it up neatly in the last volume.I intend to finish all the volumes in this series but I will think seriously about any future ones.

What was THAT!
Okay, let me just say, if you have been scrolling through the reviews, please do not read this unless you have read the book. I'M SERIOUS. There are some serious spoilers being released here. Otherwise continue reading.Let's stop and think about this book for a second and say, WOW! This book is nuts! I just can't get over the events that have happened in this book! First off, bramble_star gets kicked out of his own body, then ROOT_PAW, of all cats can see his ghost, and then the impostor starts making accusations nd the whole thing just happens from there. I really am just dumbfounded. But here is my insight on this. As another kindle customer said, and I totally had this realization too at chapter 17, the impostor is ASH_FUR! AAAAAHHHHHHH!!!!!! WHHHYYYYYYY!!!!! Him of all cats! Why is he back?! HOW is he back?!?! SO MANY QUESTIONS!!!!!!!!!!! But aside from that, how about that ending? I HATED WHAT HAPPENED. THEY POSSIBLY KILLED SHADOW_SIGHT!!!!!!!! WWWWWWHHHHHHHHHHHHHYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY!!!!!!!! AUGH!! WHY DID YOU DO THIS TO ME ERIN!?!? Other than that, it was a really good! I really liked how the clan cats created this "order" to defeat the impostor. Thanks for another great book Erin Hunter! OH! I almost forgot! If anyone reads wings of fire, the impostor has a slight resemblance to some other evil person we can all think of! "Cough,dark_star,Cough". I mean he's not TOTALLY evil. He had a good heart but used his actions in the wrong way, thinking that he could do what he wanted. BUT! That debate is for another day! Until next book, bye!

"Wormed" is said TOO. MANY. TIMES.
I.. Don't know what to say in this review, really. I have such mixed opinions about this book, but at the same time I feel nothing. The excitement wasn't really there for me, actions built up to nothing and nothing was ever "done" by any of the characters. I still don't get why Rootpaw hasn't gotten his warrior name yet. He isn't that bad, considering he fought Needlepaw and it was mentioned he wasn't so bad. One thing pleased me though; Alderheart's pallet was changed. I don't know if that happened earlier, but I realized he is now an orange, reddish color instead of a Bramblestar clone. On the theme, let's speak of him. I mean, not to jinx myself but Ashfur it is. Wants to hang out with Squirrelflight? Check. Make life miserable for her adopted and biological children? Check. Confirmed in Starclan in Squirrelflight's hope? Check. I mean, it was pretty obvious from the first book, but I feel like this book at least had more "action" in it. What I mean is that something HAPPENS in every chapter. It can get quite boring with just one point of view having something going on for them, but here we have ghost-problem in one, Starclan-themed in another and the consequences of The Clans listening to an apprentice in the third. The story moves much better, so I'm definitely tuned for the next book.Just make Berrynose even more cringy!!!

AMAZING!
Spoilers ahead:This book was amazing! I have always felt the warriors series could get a tiny bit repetitive with their plots and villians. Too much Tigerstar, and his sons. Vision of Shadows had Darktail, who was amazing, but still not the greatest. Plus he was gone too soon. When Lost Stars rolled around I was super into Bramblestar's sudden change. At first I suspected Tigerstar to be posessing Brambestar. But then when the Silent thaw came out, I realized quickly that It was Ashfur posessing Bramblestar. Though I believe the theroy is correct, I'm hoping I'm wrong. I want a suprise, and I wish Erin Hunter was less obvious. Other than that, the book was stunning. The mystery and drama kept me holding my breath, and I love how Bristlefrost was helping Bramblestar, before realizing he was evil. Her character was a Mary Sue in the First book, so this was a very nice change. The drama in the ThunderClan camp made Bristlefrost's chapters my favorite. For the next book, maybe tension between Spotfur and Bristlefrost? I think that would be likely, and maybe in anger Bristlefrost might rat Spotfur out again, over even lie about her breaking the code. The two already expressed dislike for each other in the Silent Thaw.

Next book needs to hurry up!
I just finished reading this book. I got through it in one sitting because I just could not put it down. Wow, what a book!Okay so this installment in the series isn't like most of the other books. There aren't a lot of major events that push the plot forward. This book is more about the way the clans are gradually putting the clues together to figure out the mystery of what the heck is going on.I loved the suspense in this part of the story. A lot of people seem to have theories about Darktail and Ashfur, but I'm not particularly sure. Sol comes to mind, but I don't know how that would work. Darktail makes the most sense to me. I forget which book it is but when Ashfur is confirmed to be in Starclan, the cat who discussed the matter says something along the lines of Ashfur's only crime being that he loved [Squirrelflight] too much. So for me, Ashfur doesn't seem like a good fit for the going theory. Hopefully the next book will give us more definitive clues. That ending though! AAAAAAAH waiting for the next book to come out is going to be torture!

OMG
Seriously. This is a brilliant book and has a very cool (slightly annoying) cliffhanger. But the next book was already out for me so it was ok. *SPOILERS*Shadowsight gets ambushed on the way to the moonpool. And he ... well.... in the book you think he may be dead!!! *ANSWER ALERT*Shadowsight ISN'T dead and guess who killed him? Surprise suprise.... Its Bramblestar! (Well fake Bramblestar anyway) Also Shadowsight manages to get to the Dark Forest and sees the REAL Bramblestar trapped in a tree! Shadowsight alsoo sees what he thiks are Starclan

Amazing book I loved it and recommend it to all!
First you'd need to read all the others so you know what is happening but then it makes sense and then you can enjoy it as much as I did!

It had everything I like; action, funny parts, and interesting information about the forest.'It came in good packaging and three months later the cover is still in good condition and no pages have fallen out.
