Food storage in fridge. When Cold ,hard to remove top ,but keeps food well.

the lids on this were really tuff to get on and off for a few weeks....one lid was slice along the edge when received....bulge of container makes them less easy to stack and store in freezer or fridge.

I had back surgery a while back and wanted to put some meals in the freezer beforehand so I wouldn’t have to fuss with cooking. I love the portion size with these—it’s perfect for what I need. I froze beef stew and spicy red beans with andouille sausage. It was really nice to just pull one of them out of the freezer. I don’t have a microwave, so just let it thaw enough for the food to slide out of the container into a big saucepan to heat up. Delicious and convenient.

I can't believe I'm being asked to review something as trivial as food containers, but OK here goes. I see these flimsy containers lasting usage a few times and then cracking. They are hard to clean, with all the curved surfaces that trap food. My wife wanted me to order them, so I did. Rubbermaid or Tupperware they ain't. So, there you have it.

We have been using these for years. I bought more of the same so the new would stack with the old when not in use. Over time the lids tear - usually at the opening flap. If you reheat fatty material in the microwave it can distort or pock-mark the base - better to transfer to glass or earthenware if you are going to use higher temperatures.

Bought this for my lunches and my husband ended up using them for leftovers because they are really a perfect size for just under medium. We ended up giving some away with left overs from a family dinner and I'll be buying more of them!
