I bought this as a gift. Very cute. Seems a little unsturdy but my son loves it

Love this journal for the old-time look and feel of the book. There are a lot of pages in the journal with the edges nicely "aged". I have just started to use it, and so far, after trying two different inks to write in it, there does not seem to be any bleeding through to other pages. I will be tying calligraphy inks next - will update later after I have used some of those.

My son and I have talked about writing a book because of some question that have come up during this Pandemic and then I found this Journal. I have started writing certain incidents in it, this way my son will have some of the things he does not know or may not remember when I am gone, if we do not get a computer and are not able to start our book. I love how the pages look burnt, it gives it a feeling that you are writing important things (which I am) in an important book. It looks neat to my teenage son too.

the journal is beautiful. it seems well put together and i will update my review once i start using is and see if the pages stay put. It arrived with the leather very dry as one can image from being in a warehouse and then box. some conditioning with leather cleaner sprayed onto a microfiber made it supple and IMO more appealing. i wiped the whole book twice, allowing for the leather cleanser to soak in and dry. the objective is to bring back the suppleness not to make it shine, I tested in a small corner and then slowly wiped the cover down in a circular pattern. the pages seem well bound and are definitely thick. i plan on using it as a note taker during church and my bible studies. at this point just based on looks i will say you will not be disappointed.

Great quality leather and well made, although for the price I was slightly disappointed by the paper. The paper is thick, and it looked very nice overall. However, I was hoping to be able to use this journal for art as well as writing and it is not very well suited for artist pencils, and if you try to erase a line, it removes a layer of the paper. I also attempted to write with a fountain pen on this, and the paper soaked up the ink and clogged the tip of the pen. I recommend using felt tipped pens for this.Overall pleased, but would love to see an option for this same style of book with a bit smoother style of paper.

Love Love Love my journal! I got this to use for my BOS and I was NOT disappointed. I loved how it looked super old and just what someone might envision an ancient BOS to look like :) when it came, I honestly didnt expect it to appear quite this good but it honestly took my breath for a minute. The leather is comfortable and soft and thin yet sturdy. The pages arent just distressed, but actually have been burnt to make it even more aged looking. The pages are thick and soft with a very old texture to them. Soon as my 17 year old son saw it he wanted one too so I ordered a second right away. I really love this. It absolutely perfect for my needs and is even better than expected!

Can I give like a million stars for this????? It is ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFULLY GORGEOUSLY BREATHTAKING!!! The pages are nice and thick to prevent ink bleeding. Fantastically aged pages. The leather smell is intoxicating.. I got this as a journal for my boyfriend and now I need to buy more for ! myself and I will be!!! Wonderful product for an amazing price. It's so thick and the pages are bound stunningly. I cannot say enough about this piece of art! The craftsmanship is out of this world. Blew away any expectations I had!!!

This was better than I could have hoped for. The pages are thick and perfect for and old timey feel. I personally use this with my fountain pen. The thick pages plus the burnt look makes it a great journal. The leather is soft but holds up well don’t know how long the strap will hold up for, but so far it has been just fine. I deffinintly recommend if you want a book that looks old but isn’t and also to actually write in
