Nixplay Smart Digital Picture Frame I 8 inch I Black I WiFi I Shared Family Playlists I Mobile App, Email I Preload Content for a Gifted Frame

I had previously bought digital frames from another manufacturer for my parents and they were awful! They kept freezing and corrupting my SD cards so I decided to look for a better option for them. I hadn't considered WI-fi frames, but liked the description of the Nixplay Seed frame and purchased it. I am so glad I did! The display is bright and crisp, but the best parts are the many options you have via the Nixplay website. You can add up to 5 frames to one account and create different albums which can then be uploaded to Playlists. These playlists can then be "published" to one or all of your frames so you can really personalize what you want to display. I utilized these playlists to upload special birthday collages I created for my Mom's special day! I also like the colors the frame offers along with the fact that it works in both landscape and portrait mode. Lastly, the power cord design works well too.You get 10GB of online storage per account which is plenty for me. You can also control various settings like transitions, sleep time, etc from their website as well.There is an iPhone app that allows you to upload pictures to your playlists which I have used many times already. You can also connect social media platforms, but I have yet to try this.I am beyond impressed with the frame quality and excellent customer service and would highly recommend this to anyone.

I can’t say how excited I am about this frame! We bought this as a gift for my elderly grandfather, and I can’t wait to give it to him so he can see pictures of his grandchild. It was very easy to set up, took less than 5-10 minutes tops. It looks very beautiful sitting on our shelf.We had no issues using the app or sending photos to the frame. I was surprised that it even let me send videos. It does limit the videos to 15 seconds in length. You are able to add captions to each photo and create different playlists. The app always multiple family members to send photos to the person with the frame if they have the code.I love that the frame playlists are customizable. It allowed us to change the transition of the photos to look more unique. It also has motion sensor for the frame that can be turned on or off. It has a sleep timer you can set to turn off the frame at night and wake up in the morning.Only con for us was I wish it was a little more affordable so I could purchase for more family members. It also did take a little bit of time to send the photos to the frame (around 15 mins for 30 photos). Otherwise I’m thrilled!

love it! I have family spread out and this allows me to tap and share photos directly with them. The phone apps are great and the ability to add captions is nice. One caveat (not enough to take a star off) - do not use the ampersand (&) in your captions. Anything after the ampersand is cut off - more than likely due to some input validation in the app or DB, but took a bit for me to notice what was happening - AND you cannot modify captions after you upload the photos. So if you caption a photo with "Tom & Jerry at the park" you will get a photo that says "Tom" and to fix it, you will have to delete the photo and re-add it. No biggie though once you know!

This was a purchase for my in-laws and it was such a hit!! They have raved over and over about it and say it’s the best present ever. They since bought one for us and their daughter. It is so easy to set up and use. The app is an easy way to add pictures to the frame and show them what we’ve been up to. They love getting new pictures. I can add pictures easily to my own frame and my sisters now, too. The quality is great. You can choose different settings for the pictures to show up. Yes, it’s a little pricey but so worth it for someone who has everything!! Go in as a group gift or make it birthday and Christmas... but just buy this for your parents and they will love it forever!! We put ours on a little easel on the kitchen counter. I love mine too.

I just set this frame up and I'm excited about giving it at Christmas. It did take two tries to connect to my app, but I think this is because of my VPN. Once connected, it's worked very well. The pictures are easy to load and I love the fact that I can change all the settings from my app or the website, so my Dad doesn't have to do anything. There are a couple of things I've found: 1) If you have multiple playlists and delete the 1st one, the frame hangs and you have to reset it (playing around until I got the playlists I wanted and found this by mistake - can replicate). 2) It's 3:2 aspect ratio. My cell phone pictures generally do okay, especially the landscape ones, but I filled the screen and had to manipulate some of the photos to fit properly. This is not something I'd regularly want to do. 3) Portrait photos are too much of a challenge and I've basically just given up unless I can crop them into submission. I have the frame set to landscape mode, and I don't like the scroll function, which would prevent this problemOther than that, the frame works seamlessly and has a beautiful picture. The frame is pretty, the remote works well, and I liked the cord/stand. I think it's very functional for getting the right angle to view from your placement. I bought the 8" because it doesn't take too much space, and I'm very pleased overall.Will update later if I find issues, but there is nothing here that would prevent me buying this frame again.

Love this In my home constantly on and playing photos so nice to not work about printing and changing frames all the time

Seems expensive for what it is. Could not get to the welcome screen to set it up. complete joke.

Beautifull frame with convenient online management tools and connection to all my pictures on Picasa. Power saving movement sensor. Exactly what I was looking for.

We really love this frame! My family has had these for a long time and they kept on asking us if we wanted one and we continued to say no until we were at a family event and my aunt explained why she loves hers so much. She said, she has always taken lots of pictures, but how often do you really look at them? The frame allows very easy transfer (we send them via email and rarely through the app) and we are looking at our wedding pictures again! And pictures from when our kids were super tiny! It's very delightful to watch. The frame has a night sleep mode which is great and also goes to sleep when it doesn't detect motion. We really love it! Best gift ever!
