Nice Read, Great Format
The author kept it simple, which is great for an average person. If a person does not know much about Excel, this book will teach you the basics of creating formulas. Formulas are what makes Excel fun. Once a person learns how to do this, that person can be very creative. Even though it was long, most people will feel informed and have a sense of accomplishment after reading the whole book.

Excellent Resource, Well Laid Out
The title of the book is Excel Formulas, but it's really about all the amazing built-in functions that Excel has or virtually anything you can think of. I haven't counted whether this book has exactly 101 functions, but it certainly seems to cover them all. The pages are big and the explanations thorough.I really like the layout. The functions are grouped logically, and for each function it gives the syntax, and then builds formulas showing how they work in practice using different data. This allows the reader to pick an area, like text functions, and just survey them all. Then later, when you want to do something with text functions, you can go to the section and (presumably) find the one you're looking for and be reminded how it works.

It’s what it claims
Great for anyone that needs a little help here and there. A few things not in it that would be useful , very useful and basic. Not disappointed with this one, will keep it handy.

Great Reference to Excel Formula's
If you are not an Excel guru, this is the book for you. I've used this several times over since I'm working remotely. I was able to quickly put a few formulas together and make data more meaningful. It is a quicker reference than googling formulas or having to watch Youtube videos to try and learn quickly.

Need to Know How to Use Excel Formulas? Keep Reading!
This is another great book by John Michaloudis and Bryan Hong, explaining in detail how do use Excel formulas. I like the organization of the book, the downloadable practice files, and quick-find table of contents.Several formulas I knew about but never tried are well explained, like the ISERROR, ISBLANK, TEXT, FIND, SUMIF, INDEX, and INDEX-MATCH.This book is a keeper and will be well-used as one of my top reference books. Thanks John and Bryan!!

Just okay
Easy to follow but hard to find the information you need. Some things are not in the book. But I give it a 3 star it’s just ok. I don’t use it much like I thought I would. Just…. Okay

Fantastic book of formulas
This book is amazing! I have often searched online for formulas to help with a task and sometimes was still confused as to how the formula worked. Now, I am able to use this book to provide not only the formula, but also what the parameters of the formula do as well as examples of how the formula works. It also provides downloadable workbooks for me to practice using formulas on! It is great to have so many useful formulas in one place and the ability to access them while offline.

Easy to follow, helps tremendously with Excel certification study
This book is written simply enough to follow along easily, yet it also covers a lot of ground. It assisted me greatly in preparing for my Microsoft Office Excel Expert certification exam. As knowledgeable about Excel as I already am, I learned I was not using all 101 of the most popular formulas, and there were a few extra that could really save me a lot of time and effort at work.
