Ok so I bought this WiFi booster because I've just moved home and now live in a 3 story house and my WiFi won't reach the 3rd floor. I plugged this repeater in on the 1st floor landing and followed the included instructions to set it as an exact repeater so it will simply boost my current WiFi so no need for changing between WiFi when I go upstairs. I have found the speeds and connection strength to be excellent .All in all I am very happy with this product and there's not much else to say other than it works exactly as I need it to so I have to give it 5 stars.

Absolute garbage. I bought this for my room as the WiFi signal isn't good from my room. Disconnects and requires sign-in at least twice a day which takes me to the admin set up page everytime. I have to disconnect and connect again or unplug and plug in again multiple times to get connected again. I thought maybe it was because the signal isn't great from my room so I tried relocating this device to closer range to the router but still same issue. Waste of money.

Arrived promptly. Plugged item in (which was very tight in socket), no lights on unit came up. My phone picked up the unit but would not pick up my WIFI signal. Their. support is some dogey email in europe. Reset the unit and still no joy. Tried to remove the unit from my socket and it broke and left the remaining parts in the socket. Very cheap plastic. Is it me, this is the second unit I have tried and they they seem way over complicated to set up. I don't know who rights all these good reviews.

Needed a boosted signal to our spare room while working at home during the COVID-19 lockdown. Firstly the instructions are in very poorly translated English - I am not an expert but not a complete novice either, but it took more than an hour to set up after Googling for help. The device worked for about two hours before the signal dropped out and the it required restarting. This pattern continued every day for two weeks - I never got more than 4 hours repeated use before needing to restart. Decided to try moving the unit closer to my main router, but snapped a very flimsy part, leaving the plug pins in the socket and the device completely broken. Total waste of money

When you configure the NETVIP Wireless Repeater, you have to choose the WiFi network you want to extend. Here’s a tip if you cannot see your WiFi network in the list: If you have a dual-band router, check whether it is transmitting the 2.4G and 5G signals under the same SSID (network name). My router is a FRITZ!Box and does this by default, but for some reason the NETVIP Wireless Repeater cannot seem to detect signals transmitted this way. To fix it, log into the router’s admin screens and change it so it transmits one SSID for 2.4G and one for 5G.After making this change to my router configuration and selecting the 2.4G network as the one to repeat, the NETVIP Wireless Repeater is working well and delivering a good speed in what was previously a WiFi deadspot in my home.I also like the fact the product has an Ethernet socket as I use this to connect my desktop PC, which improves the speed a little.

This nice small item doing great job! I had poor wi-fi signal in one of my rooms and this wi-fi repeater resolved this issue! Now I have all 5 bars wi-fi signal in any room of my house. Broadband speed now much faster than it was before. Easy to operate through any internet browser. Very clever device! All I had to do is to plug it into the power socket and do few clicks on my phone. Nice and easy!

In our new house extension the wifi has not been as strong to the new part (guess as it has to go through an external thick wall). So I thought I'd give this a go and see if it helped. The easy answer is yes! It took about 5 mins to setup from plugging it in but comes with a step by step guide.It seems really reliable and hasn't dropped out yet. Once installed you never know it is there as automatically does the work in the background. It's a bit on the dearer side but works really well.

I have been looking for one for a while. It comes with very useful manual in 3 langurage. The manual tells me how to set it up step by step with pictures. Quite easy to follow uo. The signal range is far better than I expected. I now can have wifi in the loft which is very happy ending.
