Glass Raindrops Mobile Yard Art

When I carefully unwrapped and untangled the mobile I received I found it in five different pieces. I was able to solve the puzzle and assemble the pieces in their proper order. I used my jewelry pliers to bend the opened loops closed and successfully hang my mobile. I like it! But I had to work for it. Also, I would not hang it outside because the threads are natural (cotton?) string that would not last long exposed to weather. If you want to use this mobile outside, you should replace the threads with nylon string or chains. Keep in mind when you change the materials in a mobile, you may upset the balance and have to do more work to re-balance it.

I read a few reviews saying this mobile came tangled and the string used was flimsy but I took a chance on it anyways. They must have changed how they package and ship because each raindrop was carefully wrapped in foam and secured with rubber bands. It was super easy to unfold and they came out untangled (the picture is literally what it looked like after I removed the foam). Also, the string is plastic coated and looks safe for outdoors. But, you could easily buy jewelry wire and restring if you wanted to be extra safe. We hung it outside by our front door and it looks great!

Upon opening the product and straightening the metal pieces to hang properly one of the segments fell to the ground and shattered a couple glass drops. The company would not, or was unable to get me a couple replacement glass pieces. The unit now sits in the box and was a waste of money. The company needs to do a better job inspecting the areas that keep the metal bars connected to make sure they are secured, which mine weren't.

It first, seemed tricky to hang; but quickly balanced out and sways in the slightest breeze. Lovely to look at.

This item has very thick wire (wire hanger-thick) and is very visually cumbersome. I am not impressed. :(

This is the third time I've purchased this mobile. I love it. I keep finding another perfect place in my garden to hang it. The glass holds the blue color and it seldom gets too tangled even in high winds.

This unique hanging raindrop mobile was the perfect addition to my eclectic styled apartment. I love it!
