These are sold as AAA grade natural shiny tumbled colourfast stones suitable for stocked ponds so I expected the shiny red finish to be the stone surface itself.Tumbled stones are usually rotated in drums with various grades of grit until the stone surface is permanently polished and shiny.However after handling these my hands felt waxy so I gave them a wipe and it turns out that that the shine and red colour comes off so I have regular boring garden stones coated in a red wax polish. I wouldn't dare use these with fish and would strongly advise against it. Who knows what chemicals they are coated in.The description is more than misleading. it's a scam! Where all the positive reviews come from I've no idea. Please see the photos of before and after the coating is removed.

Just revamped our patio and had to leave two corners for drainage. We used these pebbles to make them a feature, they look brilliant and blend well with our new paving slabs. Value for money and look good compared to others I had looked at. Very pleased with these lol

Good size pebbles - arrived swiftly and appropriately packaged - they look great in a water feature and are smooth and shiny and fairly evenly sized.

A little on the expensive side, twice the price of non polished. But I want the look all of the time, nit just when wet. Look stunning!
