One of the best
I have read many foraging books, and this one is great for beginners or when you need a refresher. Images are great, and content is written well.

Splendid! Really first-rate.
An absolutely outstanding, indispensable guide to wild foods found in Britain, and to an awful lot of American plants and shellfish as well. He writes with passion, humor, and a rich knowledge of the scientific, historical, culinary, and literary background of his subject. Highly, highly recommended, as is everything else by this author!

I don't have any experience in surviving outdoors. This is great. It has pictures and information that is easily understood. I highly recommend this book for any outdoor enthusiast. This book is compact and very easy to pack.

Really interesting and helpfull!!
There's a ton of good recipes and really good descriptions of the plants and mushrooms so it's easier to identify. I am in love with this book and think everyone should have it in their possession!

A must have book
Small in size; perfect to fit in jacket pocket. Mix of illustrations and pictures. Great value. Not a ton of information on each plant, but its easy enough to use the book to better guide a good search.
