Maydear Small and Easy DIY 5d Diamond Painting Kits with Frame for Beginner with White Frame for Kids (Wishing Bear) 6X6 inch

I was really excited about this kit and had high hopes for it. Unfortunately, I was disappointed for a number of reasons.First of all, the description claims this product is appropriate for ages 4+ so I bought it as a gift for my 4 year-old daughter. When I opened it, I was shocked at how tiny the “diamonds” are. The minuscule size and of the components makes the kit challenging for an adult to work, let alone a child. This is is a completely inappropriate toy for a four year-old — there is absolutely no way a young child could assemble this thing. I would label this as maybe 10+, and that would be pushing it.My daughter was upset that she could not use the kit herself but loved the picture so much that she wanted to keep it anyway, obviously counting on me to do it for her. When I emptied the box, I was annoyed to find that there were no directions included. The contents included: the adhesive canvas, several [nonresealable] packets of teensy weensy jewels, three tools that are definitely not self-explanatory, and a frame in which to display the finished product.I [think] I figured out the use of each tool, however, I found none of them to be particularly useful for the task at hand. A pair of tweezers to handle the tiny jewels would have actually been useful but nothing like this was included. Luckily, I had my own pair of craft tweezers — I can’t imagine doing this thing without a pair.As a whole, the kit is set up for complete disorganization. The different sets of jewels are individually packaged, however, the baggies that contain them are not resealable — they are actually all connected. The plastic is cheap and rips easily so I didn’t even attempt to salvage the bags to contain the pieces I wasn’t using. It eventually turned into a mess of mixed jewels. Something with so many pieces, many of which are so similar in size and color, should be better packaged for use.When I finally completed the picture, I was pleasantly surprised by how pretty it turned out. Unfortunately, when I removed the frame from its packaging, I found that it was broken. Not cool.I would not recommend this to anyone.

My 8 year old loves this.She received an adult level one for Christmas and loves it, but it's taking entirely too long And is very difficult for her.This one is perfect and she can see her progress much faster.

It was easy to do. I made for grandson and he loved it. The only thing I saw wrong with it is the instructions weren't in the box. Having knowledge about diamond painting, I could do it.

This cute little unicorn turned out way better than I would have expected! The colors are bright and contrast beautifully with the black background. I loved that the jewels were true rhinestones (instead of more opaque, dull drills).The kit doesn't come with directions but I thought it was fairly simple for an adult to figure out. I've attached directions from another DIY diamond painting kit for those who may want more more help on how to use the pen and pink "mud" to apply the jewels to the canvas. It does take some patience and fine motor skills to apply the jewels. I'd definitely recommend this as a fun craft project for both adults and older kids.

My six year old had so much fun with this. It was easy enough for her to do herself.

It was a perfect gift for my granddaughter. It arrived very quick & was easy for her to do & understand. The plastic frame for the picture was awesome as well. Wish adult kits came with that.

Easy to make and super cute

The package was just a amazon box with the content inside, no picture, no instructions, nothing.It was a birthday gift so was hard for the child to understand what it was she was receiving. Also since it didn’t have instructions she wasn’t sure how to do it and needed assistance.

Ordered this for my daughter for Christmas. She was so excited to do her first diamond art picture. Opened the box and it was missing the picture. The only thing that was in the box was a blank canvas and the diamonds and the diamond tool. Not happy with this purchase and I have an upset little girl.

Not worth the cost but my daughter enjoyed the project in lockdown. Really nice it comes with a frame; she has placed it on her wall. Looks nice at the end of it the craft.

Nice easy for young kids. My daughter is enjoying working on it a bit each day. Age 6. Came with everything you need including a cute white frame.

This was a gift and she loved it. It also seems to be the thing today, this is a small one but they come in bigger sizes, which they now have.
