Jimmy JV51 Cordless Vacuum Cleaner, 200Kpa/ 400W Power Stick Vacuum for Pet Hairs, Hardwood Floor

This stick vac is absolutely a game changer! So, just like any other big purchase, it all started with a random YouTube video that put several stick vacuums to an exhausting test and the Jimmy was the winner among the cheaper vacuums. My husband and I were so impressed with it that we decided to purchase it. We got in December 2019 and, honestly, I cannot recommend this vacuum cleaner enough!We have hardwood & tile floors throughout the house. The only carpeted area is the stairs.Here are the honest remarks about this vacuum: it does a superb job on hardwood/tile floors as it grabs the smallest particles due to its velvety head. There’s a lot sand that we bring from the outside, which I had hard time getting rid of before the Jimmy.However, The Jimmy is not as good on carpeted floors. I recommend to watch the YouTube video about it to make your own decision.The Jimmy does well with the carpet on our stairs, however, this area is not big enough to compare it with the rest of the carpet less floors.If you have pets & hardwood floors, you absolutely need this vacuum!We also use all attachments and they do a wonderful job! I use this stick vac to clean my car.Last note: A lot of people gave less stars due to the euro (or Asian?) plug. I grew up abroad so we have lots of adapters laying around so not a big deal at all.

This vacuum was great when it works but that only sometimes. They originally sent me the jimmy vacuum with a European adapter (I live on the us) so I contacted the seller and he agreed to send a correct cable. But that cable was lost in the mail. Then I bought a second one the seller refunded me but I had to literally splice cables. Then the adapter that I bought was defective. Then the seller paid for a travel plug adapter. Now it charged the vacuum and when it was charged it was amazing. All the tools were well designed and easy to clean. No complaints about the vacuum but now it doesn't charge and I'm done waiting in adapter. I spent $200 on a vacuum that didn't work for 8 weeks and I'm not waiting anymore.

Great vacuum, but it came with a non US charging plug.

Works fantastic but should be able to obtain a second battery more easily. One star off from not being able to buy accessories.

The one I received was made to be used and sold in Japan. The AC cored is made for Japanese AC outlets, will not work with our outlets so I can’t charge battery. All the literature is in Japanese only. Please let me know what I should do. I like the looks and workmanship. You could just send me the cord for US or new unit packaged for US market.

This vacuum is intended for sale in European markets. It does not come with a charger that works with American outlets. The vacuum is very high quality and an excellent performance, but that doesn't matter much when you can't charge it.
