A Must Have
I saw all the negative reviews... I have an Audi A6 and I went to get an oil change and tire rotation the other day as I prepare the vehicle for holiday travel. Much to my dismay they could not reset the inspection code from the car's system. Said I could take it a garage or Pep Boys, so I began my own research on this issue. Called around and the cheapest I could find was like, Auto Zone still at about hundred dollars. Decided to spend the hundred for one of these puppies. WOW!!! Fixed more than I thought it would. If you rotate the tire there is a fault registering until you clear it out, and it only shows up on the scan. The fact is that after a complete scan of my Audi A6, I feel it very safe for my holiday travel. So if you have a vehicle that is listed VW/Audi you will want to have one of these, 4real 4real. Yes, $1.99 plus tax to make changes to each code you reset, try going to the dealership to change a setting and see what you get... for a dollar and ninety nine cents, if you whine about that you should not be driving an Audi. Audi's are an expensive repair and it is nice to be ready and prepared for an expenditure instead of sitting in a waiting room waiting for that technician to come out and tell you all the thousands it is gonna take to repair. I rest my case 😂

Outstanding product for Volkswagen Auto Group owners
This device is absolutely necessary if you want to save yourself money in diagnosing and fixing problems. For example, I wanted to upgrade my car's battery from a regular one to an AGM battery which requires clearing out codes and adapting the new battery to the electrical system. If you do this at a VW dealer, it will cost you nearly $500 (with battery). I bought the battery for $175 and did all the electrical stuff with this OBDeleven product. Here's what I like about it:1. The app (you have to download it for iOS or Android) is easy to use and very modern. Whoever is behind it keeps it up-to-date.2. The scanner syncs with the app quickly and easily. If you have ever connected AirPods to your iPhone, it's about that easy.3. It reads all of the codes and gives you a description of what they are. And they provide links to get more information if you need it.4. It's easy to clear all of the outstanding codes (and there's a lot of them when you switch batteries).5. The scanner is small and compact, and you can hide it in your glovebox.6. It's just fun to use.Remember this device only works with Volkswagen Auto Group cars, which I believe includes VW, Audi, Porsche, and a few other brands in the USA.

Non Existent Support
Have a golf gti mk8, upon opening the box and looking for the manual they have a paper with QR code. QR code does not work / sends you to a shorten link which says it’s unsafe to use. So you’re out of luck for any instructions. Website doesn’t even show you what to do really. I went the app store but there’s two apps under ObdEleven, had no idea which one to use so I used the non VAG one. Told me to pick my car but for some reason they have a selection for the golf gti mk8 listed as 2022-2024 or 2024 model. I picked 2024 model and after the device not connecting, sending me to a blank page I found on the internet some random person had the same issue and it’s because the 2024 car selection is for the 2025+ models (mk8.5). Have zero clue on why they made it that way or don’t specify the car you have. I also figured out that device is able to connect with the VAG app after numerous attempts. But the one click apps page shows nothing due to the system thinking I have the 2025 version of the golf gti which I don’t have. Even worse or you might be asking why did I go through all this trouble and not just contact support. Well the company is located in europe and only has a chat support system which you’re never able to catch a live agent to talk to. You can leave a messsage and it says they will respond in 1 day but it’s already passed 4. It also says a live agent will be available in 3 hours, you wait those 3 hours and no one shows up. My very first “ticket” if you were even to call it that the conversation was ended/closed without even a person helping me. I practically have a regular obd2 device now and can’t do anything else. The only way to fix this is someone from the company to change my car model but I can’t get a hold of no one after numerous attempts.

Good purchase.
Cool little tool for live data, maintenance, code diagnostics, and customization, but the credit price and membership stuff is a bit much. Doesn't do anything for ecu or dsg tuning so if thats what your after an accessport or the like might be a better a choice. The 1 click descriptions could be better as you will likely waste credits on some things. There are now two different apps and could be a little confusing at times. This will drain car battery if left in obd port overnight. Over all pretty handy little gadget to have.
