The K & H Thermo-Kitty bed is just what I wanted for my indoor cats this winter. I am able to fit two on top of the wardrobe in my bedroom, creating an out of the way cozy spot for my cats to nap during the day. The beds are warm, but do not pose a safety risk as human heating pads would do. They're very soft (softer than I expected with the heating element inside), and generous in size. I sprinkled them with a little catnip and my cats have already claimed them. I am very pleased with this purchase.

My ailing cat loved this. It isn't warm to the touch if nothing is lying on it. I had to put my hand on it for a few minutes and create a warm spot before kitty showed interest. In a few minutes she had a favorite place.

Our old lady absolutely loves this bed. Getting old in the largest state in the US is hard on everyone. But this bed makes it easier for her to rest and not be cold.

I bought many cat beds over the years and neither of my 2 cats will use them. I have a 14 year old girl that spends the majority of her time on a heating pad from this brand that I would lay a soft blanket over. We didn't really need a new cat bed, but this one just looked soft and comfortable that I had to try it. To my surprise, she immediately got into this bed when she realized that it heated up! I do cover it with a throw blanket just to help keep it clean as I can toss the blanket in the laundry when needed. It is 'motion activated' meaning it heats up once the cat gets on it which I like so I leave it plugged in all the time. My 3 year old cat also loves it and lucky for him she will sometimes share. For reference, only 1 cat really fits in the bed and my felines are approx 7-10 lbs shorthairs. We have been using this been non stop for a couple of months now and it still heats up well and works just fine. Very much worth the purchase!

One benefit of the heating feature is that it doesn't warm up until your cat lays on it. Great -- that saves on electricity. But for our old cat, we wanted it already warm for him when we'd put him in it when we went to bed. So we just put a 10 pound sack of flour in the bed about 20 minutes before "bed time," then took it out when we put him in the bed. Worked just fine -- he'd stay in the bed. And as the directions states the bed doesn't get too warm.

I got this for our 15-year-old cat who is tiny and has thyroid issues. I wanted her to have a little extra warmth this winter, as she always seems to be tucked in “loaf” mode when she sleeps.I plugged the bed in as soon as I got it and tested it for heat. After a few minutes, it felt like a very low-level heating pad, so I felt comfortable letting my cat use it. It took a few hours before she would explore it, but once she sat down and settled in, she loved it! I could tell she was more warm and comfortable because she started stretching out while she slept, and her normally cold ears felt warm. I think she also enjoys the cushioned sides to snuggle into.All in all, this was a great investment in our senior cat’s comfort!

This is the second one of these that I have purchased. My cat is almost 18 years old and he likes having warm places to lay down. I was nervous that it would always be hot, but it isn’t. It heats up when he lays on it. I highly recommend this item.

My cat loved this bed! Especially in the winter. Worked great. Washed well also. That heating pad pops in and out easily.

The bed is like the picture and just the right size for my cat. He is very happy with it. It is a little damaged on the bottom fabric. It’s like a burn. The foam in side is a title on the cheep side it doesn’t always lay flat. But my old fella is happy with it.
