Wrong size, but catches fish!
I bought this for bass fishing thinking it would be good on my inland lake. It turned out to be much bigger than I had expected so I never really tried it. On my lake the large mouth like smaller lures.anyway, I went on a trip to long Island and fished just off the south shore of fire island. We were striped bass fishing off the back of the boat, but while we were waiting for some stripers to hit i was casing off the front with this lure. I cast it maybe 6 times before I caught a blue fish. From that point I could catch fish relatively easily - blues all day with this thing no problem. Definitely a good lure, but not really an inland lake lure.

Great top water lure
Great lure. I used it evenings and early mornings for bass. Hot weather in Missouri, July. Pounded them in coves.

Countless blues and stripers on LI !
Thus little 4" lure has worked wonders for me and my dad in the great South Bay ! All of the creek Chubb knuckle head lures ! I am not lying when I said countless. I think it has something to do with the popping action that is created when it's retrieved back. Because of the joint.
