Pleasantly surprised
This book was in my basket saved for later for a very long time. It intrigued me but it’s not the classic lift the flap style my kids love so I was worried they wouldn’t like it. Eventually I just ran out of other books to by for their age in relation to the human body so I got this one and was very pleasantly surprised! My eldest is 7 and she really seemed to enjoy it when I read it to her and I feel we both learned a lot! It’s presented in a very creative way, slightly abstract but really good introduction to a very complex subject!

A joyous journey through the brain
This is a brilliant book. I bought it for my niece who is currently 3 and half but I plan to give her the book close to her 6th birthday. I love the careful illustrations, and the bond between the girl of the story and the Owl. The book encourages curiosity in the young reader - it shows that asking questions is very important and is part of gathering knowledge! I feel like I have learnt from the anecdotes as well - about emotions, about habits. Truly a little gem for the little ones!

Inspiring book
Our whole family really loved the book. It was enjoyed equally by a 6 year old, a 9 year old and by the grown ups. It was both easy to understand and fun to read. It teaches science in a very exciting way.

Fun science for kids
A super sweet adventure story about a girl and an owl intersects with a myriad of facts - this is a perfect book for curious children of all ages. At the same time accessible and enticing, the book combines visual storytelling with complex scientific concepts to inspire children to find out more about how human brain (and science behind it) works. This is a rich and interesting source, to which my 7 year old keeps coming back again, and again. We haven't come across anything as inspiring for children on this (or similar) topic yet.

A fascinating exploration through the brain
I bought this book for my 7 year old and both of us have enjoyed reading this and coming back to read sections in more detail. The book is clear and full of funny details. Great addition to our library.

A playful exploration of what goes on in our brain
A curious girl questions an owl on what goes on in our heads. We learn about how our senses work, how we take decisions, why we sleep and much, much more. It's full of interesting insights, but what really brings it to life is the humour. There are neurons on bikes, naughty tiny characters, trees and landscapes, all representing different parts and processes in our brains. A book which brings science to life.

Nothing new, but nice book
It’s a nice book, but nothing new. It’s basically the same as another book of a similar title published 5 years earlier. Some nice illustrations and engaging for children interested in science - some parts maybe a bit too complicated for young children, but will last them for years.
