Stadler FormRobert Humidifier Purifier, Black - A-200

Very pricy, but worth it. Air seems fresh, and it keeps decent humidity levels in a 1200 sqf loft. I know it says it covers 850, but my place is one open floor plan, so that may help. Cleaning is easier than any other humidifier. The tray and cleaning disks go in the dishwasher on delicate. It really seems to remove impurities, because the disks are covered in grime weekly. It's also quiet, and slick looking too, but functions & interface are excellent. Fits in minimalist, modern spaces well. Also have a stadler form space heater for my bathroom, and same deal: Form & function ( at a price)

I decided to return this and I will explain why.1. The auto mode is only for 45% humidity one can not adjust the level for auto mode so it is useless.2. Set the unit for 55% humidity. Room was at 46% when starting. Had to refill twice a day and the unit never reached 50% humidity.3. If you run it on high it will raise the humidity right next to the machine but a digital humidistat showed no increase in the room.4. From the product description "Robert efficiently humidifies a space up to 860 square feet in size using a digital hygrostat" My whole apartment isn't even 750 square feet and this unit wouldn't even increase the humidity in the bedroom with the door shot just 5%.5. If the unit ever reaches the level you set it at the display just continues to flash until it drops below that level. Very annoying in the bedroom.6. Did I mention I had to fill this thing twice a day and it still didn't work.I can not recommend this to anyone. It is way over priced and doesn't even work.

I've had mine for a couple of weeks now. Here are some initial observations:-Very quiet. I love the night mode. The Robert sits at the foot of our bed and my husband and I barely even hear it. It emits a low white noice that actually helps sleep, even for me who prefers complete silence. The noise is low pitched and soothing like a little rumble.-Simple to use. I can't stress this part enough. It is so so simple. The water tank lifts right out and so easy to fill and place back in. The controls are simple too, a couple of buttons and that's it.-Effectiveness. I use it in a large master bedroom suite because of my cats. (One is very allergic to everything). My husband has bad allergies as well and they both seem to be sneezing less and breathing better. It's really hard to tell how much of a difference this makes,I'm sure it's slight. But every little bit helps.-Looks Great. You hardly notice the thing. It sits in the corner of the room and it's hardly there.

I liked the TOM version better for as the air flow config. was more efficient. both sides had in takes and the out put was on the top, straight up. As apposed to the ROBERT, 1 in take on the upper back and only 1 out put on the lower bottom of 1 side only. This makes it harder to place this model anywhere in a room for complete coverage.

This is a great machine. It should be for the price but it runs smoothly and is easy to set up. My 1 year old has s cough and cold constantly and this really helps symptoms at night as well as purifying the air. Regular cleaning is important though and its a little annoying but I figure it's still one of the best if not the best out there. Only reason I gave 4 stars is that the water tank needs filling every day and it's a little awkward.

If you're looking for something to make white noise, look no further. I tested 6 different high end air purifiers and this one had the best noise out of all of them. Plus, the added bonus of humidifier is a huge win. AND it also doesn't need filters...just fill it up every couple of days. I've had this for a month now and I love it even more.

great product works really well and looks fantastic

Dead on arrival, will not power up. Water tank does not sit flush with the body of the unit, tilts back and away. Packaging looked OK, no obvious damage, so have assume production/QA issue. Called number in user manual for support, but limited to 8 - 5, Eastern, M-F. Disappointing customer experience given the cost, was willing to pay for a quality machine.

lovely functional machine!

We are very happy with our Roland. We use it in our 70m2 living room and the air quality has substantially changed. Our little toddler hd a bad cough which is now completely gone. Furthermore, Roland is very simple to handle and the simple and beautiful design makes it fit perfectly in any room of the house. We are 100% happy and would recommend others who are in need of an airwasher to buy this product.

je suis très satisfait de mon achat, correspond à ce que je recherchais, assez silencieux, le taux d'humidité remonte assez rapidement, le seul hic, c'est le produit biocido à mettre dans l'eau pour les bactéries, 20 gouttes par litres , cela revient assez cher,si le taux d'humidité demandé est supérieur cela tourne et consomme de l'eau, donc du produit, et la bouteille de biocido est très petite :(mise à part cela, excellent produit, je ne regrette pas l'achat.... et il faut suivre la notice d'entretien bien sur!!!!

Da wir in einem Haus mit KWL (kontrollierte Wohnraumlüftung) wohnen, sinkt die Luftfeuchtigkeit im Winter dramatisch - bei uns auch bis 20%Bisher haben wir verschiedene Möglichkeiten ausprobiert, die Luftfeuchtigkeit höher zu halten.Verdampfer: Da sind wir bisher nur mit dem Stadler Form zufrieden, da er kaum Verkalkungsprobleme hat und sehr zuverlässig arbeitet.Leider reicht er für unseren Wohnraum (ca. 80 qm großer Raum) allein nicht aus.Daher haben wir versucht, mit einem Venta Luftbefeuchter /Wäscher zu unterstützen. Auf einer Steigerung > 2% Luftfeuchtigkeit konnte das Gerät nicht kommen.Der Stadler Robert hat ebenfalls nur eine Walze, so dass wir sehr skeptisch waren, ob es hier einen Unterschied gibt. Und wir wurden positiv überrascht: Es gibt einen. Und zwar deutlich:Da Gerät pustet auf Stufe 2 den kompletten Tank in weniger als 24h raus (auf Stufe drei braucht er keine 12h). Im Vergleich der Venta 110. Der brauchte für die gleiche Menge bestimmt eine Woche.Der Stadler Robert sieht top aus, lässt sich sehr leicht reinigen und hat viele Einstellmöglichkeiten.Der Wassertank lässt sich leicht nachfüllen und tropft nicht - wirklich prima gelöst.Der Energieverbrauch ist sehr gering und zusammen mit den ebenfalls sehr niedrigen Energiebedarf des Ultraschall-Verneblers Jack als sehr gut zu bezeichnen.Weitere Vorteil des Robert gegenüber Verneblern: Es kommt zu keinen Kalkablagerungen (der feine Kalkbelag ist vor allem auf schwarzen Elektronikoberflächen sehr deutlich sichtbar).Zur Lautstärke:Stufe 1 säuselt vor sich hin (angenehm - wäre mir in einem Schlafzimmer aber zuviel).Stufe 2 ist wahrnehmbar, stört uns aber im Wohnbereich nichtStufe 3 ist schon deutlich wahrnehmbar (nutzen wir, wenn wir mehr verdunsten wollen und weg sind)Stufe 4 ist nicht alltagstauglich (aber kann ebenfalls genutzt werden, wenn man weg ist - allerdings ist der tank dann wohl besonders schnell leer).Alles in allem eine teure aber sehr lohnende Anschaffung.UPDATE nach einem Jahr: Ich musste den Robert leider tauschen, da das Antriebsrad im Luftstrom liegt und wohl an der Welle etwas verkalkt und das Wasserrad nicht mehr von selbst anläuft. Leider kommt man da selbst nicht ran. Kurzer Anruf bei Amazon und der Robert wird abgeholt (da innerhalb der 24 Monate Garantie) und das Geld erstattet. Von dem Geld kaufe ich mir dann erst mal einen neuen Robert - natürlich bei Amazon. Das nenne ich Kundenservice, Danke.

The device itself works great for a year, then it stops working due to the failed motor. The support is terrible compared to other premium brands. You will end up with an expensive electronic waste and the manufacturer refuses to provide any part or repair.
