These flowers are extraordinary -- as if a frilly pompon-like bloom had been set on top of a single-flowered Clematis! They're 4 to 5 inches wide, and they arise BY THE MANY DOZEN on plants 6 feet tall and about 3 feet wide. There's nothing of the hot-house about Empress -- this is a rough-and-ready climber for your garden. The flowers begin in late spring or early summer and continue steadily all summer long, lasting into autumn.

Not even one seed came. I have a special seed grow dome with heating, temperature and humidity control, good plant light which is timer controled, I use very good seed potting mix, and I have several years of experience.
