Made in USA! How disappointing.I was really looking forward to a quality product but this desk must of been made on Friday afternoon.The top has excess glue all the way around the edge and there is some kind of stain left on the surface. I'll try a few cleaners but water did not remove it.The feet of the legs were installed on the wrong end so I had to bang them back out with a pipe and reinstall them on the correct end.The screw used to hold the leg brackets on were overtightened/stripped out. Jambed a flat head screw driver under the screw head and was able to get the screw out. Appears the top thread has been stripped. Luckily the screw stripped before the desk metal. Was able to reuse the screw now that the bracket added thickness but it should never have happened.Customer service???? Aahahahahahah There is no number to call in the assembly instructions. Couldnt find a phone number on Alera website either, just said to call the reseller. Cant just call reseller and ask a question because you have to go through Amazon. Total pain just to ask how to remove the leg feet. Figured it out on my own but at the risk of potentially damaging the legs. FYSA they are compression fit and can be tapped from the inside.The desk is heavy, seems to have a good surface (once i figure out how to remove the chemicals they spilled on it and all the excess glue), drawers glide well enough and it's not to "tin" sounding.

Sturdy and worth the money. The drawer locks were annoying so we disabled them.

I bought this desk because I am working from home. I requested to returned because the drawers did not worked as expected. They open whenever they feel like it. For some reason this drawers do not work properly and I have difficulties when locking the drawers. I did requested a return and never got an answered from the company and when I check again is not longer eligible from returned. Please do not buy this desk. Does not work the drawers, unless you want to have a hard time time trying to open it.

It was impossible to remove the clamps from the bottom of the desk with a screw driver or hex set to attach the legs, eventually a neighbor used a specialized wrench. The drawers will not open with the keys provided. There is a hidden lever which prevents the top drawer from opening or closing completely. Not shown in instructions. Totally useless & should be taken off the market.
