My students are voracious for anything that has tp do with art and they just love to use the How To Draw books. The step-by-step instructions are simple and easy to follow and I can get to do something else without hearing "I'm done!" My girls really use this one up and it is becoming a little raggedy already! That means they are learning and enjoying it.Highly recommended for elementary art teachers, homeschool and daycare teachers as well as busy moms who have kids! They will want to draw!

Purchased as part of a gift for a preteen along with related drawing items. It was received well and she was excited to work on it later that day during the family gathering. Mermaids and unicorns are always a win!

This is the third of this book line I've gotten for my nieces and nephews and they loves them and are good quality for just a paperback book

We got this book (and a few others by this author) for my 6 yo who loves to color. She took to this book immediately, following the steps with little help. Her drawing style has improved quickly, as has her confidence! I highly recommend these books for young kids who want to learn to drawn cartoonlike, fairly simple characters. Erasable colored pencils also are a must 😉
