I have the suction cup mount version of this product, but did not like it hanging on the windshield of my Cardinal 177B, it obscured the view outside and also blocked the engine analyzer. So I bought a cheap yoke mount that had a clasp for the steering column, but it was flimsy and could not hold my iPad steady. But this yoke mount works perfectly. It's expensive, but delivers. I've mounted it so that the arm goes under the yoke and comes up right in front of me. My iPad is 10" and this arm is capable of holding it steady, solid engineering. So, expensive but worth the money. I recommend it!

I'm a PP student flying with Foreflight on an iPad Mini 4 in a C172. I've been looking for a good mounting option in an already crowded cockpit and this is it. It attaches and removes quickly and easily in rental aircraft. The iPad case is terrific on its own but the connection to the mount is super secure and quick. The adjustment is really innovative. It locks secure and adjusts with only a single screw to unlock the whole arm. Fantastic design all around.

Really enjoying using this in my C172 and iPhoneXS. The build quality is superb and it holds my phone (mostly) in place during all phases of flight. My only gripe (and maybe it's user error) is with actually connecting the clamp to the yoke. You place it over the metal bar, twist the small black handle until it's tight, and then close it down which seals the deal. However I can never close the black handle as it's wayyy too tight and won't go down. So finding the exact number of turns of the clamp handle is a guessing game and I basically just give up on it. Maybe someone can shed some light, but until then that's why I gave 4 stars

Opened the package when I got it in the package it looked kind of cheap then the magic happens I took it out of the packaging and well all I can say is well built the fact of one knob operating the whole arm great idea for me it was a toss up between MYGOFLIGHT and ram mounts I am glad I chose this one and recommend it over the ram any day I did have a chance to play with the ram but functionality is so much better on the mygoflight

Lever to lock clamp broke while locking it onto yoke. And it flops around. Disappointed in this for the price I paid. I also have the suction mount which works great.

Works great on the stock yoke of my 170B.Very adjustable.

This is a really helpful device. Much better than the window mounted version if there is someone else in the plane.
