Excellent! Mother-in-law kept my set, had to buy another!
These work great in my rotary tool and flex shaft attachment. I got them to carve, etch, & generally shape stones (small pebble & river rocks for art). They worked great & I continue to find new uses for them all the time. My mother-in-law makes stained glass art & needed a few diamond drill bit (she has a big glass cutting machine & a dremel as well). While she was waiting for them to arrive - I offered to let her use my set of diamond bits, so she could try them out. She KEPT them, and sent me with $ to buy more!! LOL. Awesome product, arrived on time. And, I have already recommended them to friends and family. If your on the fence, buy them. They are worth it.

Retains Sharpness Well.
I bought these for one job, and they worked perfectly. I needed a diamond coating because I wanted to enlarge the, detente hole, on an, aviation spark-plug, socket. (hardened steel) The bit I chose, cut fast and retained it's sharpness/diamond grit. In fact, I could not tell I had used it, at all. They fit a standard Dremel 1/8" chuck. They are, most absurdly, made in China, but they are not junk. Very well made, and the small case, they came in, is nice as well. I am very pleased.

Great value on rotary bits!
I would probably not use the description of "pro quality" to describe this set of bits, but at this price, one just does not expect tools to be of the highest quality. If you are not satisfied with the longevity of the these bits, just buy two or more sets and you still will come out ahead of the cost you would pay at other retail tool suppliers for similar items. In this case, "you get what you pay for" may be quite true, but you might ask if you need what you pay for. In this instance, if you are an amateur, you may not need the highest quality available. As an amateur who is less than an authority on heat and its effect upon diamonds and the adhesive materials used in their bonding process required to result in a high speed tool bits used at speeds exceeding 25,000 rpm, I do not believe a better value can be found. If you never exceed the speed limit, why buy a Ferrari? So I rate these bits with 4 stars because I know there are some better quality bits available, but at prices that are multiples of these. However, combining the needs of an amateur with the cost of these bits, I do not think you can do any better in value. I doubt that these bits would in any way diminish the quality of the result of your efforts.

For the price...you can beat it! Quality bits!
Got these bits to do some etching on some glass and wood. Saw a similar set with now where near the amount of bits this one has at lowes. And omfg! They wanted $40 for it! So I decided to go on amazon. And Sara few different sets untilmincame upon this one. I thought, for this price, wow.. Even if their poor quality with the amount of bits that's come sin this set, I might can manage to get one project done. Well, by my surprised.. These bits are even better than the diamond bits I bought a year ago. And I paid over $30. IMHO, these are an excellent buy for etching projects. They might be great for many other types of projects. But the excelled so far in the few projects I needed them for. And I have yet broken one!

Great little set...just make sure to check the size. I didn't, but I got lucky!
PERFECT! 20 pieces so no tears if one snapped or got gilted in my dremel. They were the perfect size for it too. It did the job I needed, which was boring a couple holes through surgical steel. If they could stand up to that.... that's a winning product in my book. I was doubtful at first when I saw what a small package arrived after ordering, but once I got this baby open & used a couple bits, it's made a nice little addition to my tool box. Thanks for a great product. Only warning to people wanting to cut glass, have a steady hand & don;t use too much pressure. The diamond shards on these tips are everything they claim & more. Happy customer, happy life! :-)

WOW! Nice Set.
I bought these hoping that I could drill holes in plates to hang them with chain. They work like a dream on ironstone plates. I read online to use coolant when using diamond bits, so I placed the plate in a shallow pan of water to drill them. I have an air tool, similar to a Dremel tool, that spins at high speed. Using light pressure, the bit went right through the plate.I did find that Corelle plates drilled okay, but every time the plate split across the hole with any vibration to the plate. They work great, and I can't believe the price!

Good for small projects
I use these along with a hand held whip for my Roto zip for my wood. Carvings, they get into small places, and if you maintain them and keep them clean the last a while.
