Women's Plus Size Plain Boobtube Elasticated Sheering Maxi Dress

I ordered a number of these dresses this past summer, and was happy to find them in a variety of colors. As a child, I loved these kinds of summer dresses as they were always so comfortable. And they still are. I have worn them as pajamas, as house-dresses, and dressed them up a little with light sweaters, open blouses or cardigans. They look nicer than going around in shorts or jeans, but are as just as easy to wear, wash, etc. and are lightweight and breezy enough to remain cool in the heat of summer. Some colors are a little too thin (material-wise, so they need the proper undergarments/slips to keep from being somewhat transparent (the white and soft pink, in my case), but any of the darker/bolder colors didn't have this issue. They are long dresses, though--at 5'6", some of them fit me perfect to my ankles, but some were too long and I was stepping on the hems. For those, it was easy for me to fix-- I just pulled the elastic bodice up higher and folded it down to make it double layered at the top, and effectively shortened the dress by a few inches.My only dislikes were: 1) the bodice that is elasticized is not very wide; the ones from my childhood had the elastic stitching going down to the bottom of my ribcage--these barely covered my breasts. A lady with a larger bust than me would probably find them to be insufficient coverage; and 2) the stitching for the seams came undone on two of them even before summer was over. I fixed them with needle and thread, and figured for the price I should expect some issues. As it was, they all lasted me into the Fall, and will come out again in the Spring. They are too lightweight for colder weather, even with a slip and sweater (yes, I pushed that limit, too). Overall, I really enjoyed having this style of dress again. And I got a lot of positive compliments, too.

It came early which is great but I have size D boobs and the top part that is suppose to go over your chest barely cover mine and it is really long If you are tall it works out great but I am 5.4 and it drags on the floor. i put on my two in. heels and it just barely touches the floor so if your 5.6 or 5.7 it is the prefect length. But i will have to hem mine so I am not tripping over my dress. But other then that It is really comfy and i love how its lose and not tight to my skin. Its the prefect summer dress, heck I live in Florida so Ill prop wear it 90% of the year.

Did review too soon need to update- The material and is ok for 10 bucks including shipping you can't beat it. As many others have stated the tube part short, it is not long enough to cover anything over a B cup. The elastic offers a little support and holds snuggly but unravels as the slightest touch, this leaves the little bit of tube coverage falling and slouchy. I'm 5'5 and the dress is very long even with a 4 inch wedge and bottom is very wide offers no form (from someone thick and curvy) you can fix this with a knot in bottom . Shipment date was Aug 22nd and it came on Aug 4. If the tube part was longer with better stitching and the dress / skirt part was not so wide, I would have given it 3 stars.

Dress is very very long (I am 5'2" and the hem pools on the ground around my feet, I'll have to hem about 6" in order to wear with sandals. The top is thin with elastic exposed to skin. The skirt is full and drapes nicely. This is a great house dress or beach cover up. The color is so pretty!Was delivered in a timely manner with very little packaging.

I purchased this to wear during pregnancy and I have been quite happy with it. The fabric is a good weight so it isn't see through and is very soft. Seeing as reaching my toes went out long ago this is easy to slip on while still accommodating my expanding tummy. It is a tad long for me (I'm 5'6) but works well with a pair of wedges. It has held up well in the washer and dryer as well and I hope to continue wearing this dress after baby is born.

Absolutely fell in love with the dress when I put it on. I read previous reviews about ordering a size or 2 up. I usually wear a 2x in alot of things. Sometimes a 1x. So I based it off of wearing a 2x and ordered 2 sizes up and it fits PERFECT! The length is real long, so I'll have to hem it but I'm okay with that! Its flowy and elegant for a summer dress. Shipping did take a little over a month. But I'm eager to get things quick. Elastic in the chest is awesome. Not too tight or too loose. Thank you for a great product and great price!

I will say I was pleasantly surprised with these dresses. I have now ordered my 6th one. They are very simple dresses, the material is thin but not so thin you will worry that everyone can see your business. They are comfortable and the colors are nice. I have only had the first 2 I bought for a few weeks so I can't say how they will hold up. I am 5'7 curvy girl and ordered the size 10 and they fit well. Even if I gained or lost a little. They are a perfect length that I can wear flats but also a heel if I choose. This was definitely a thumbs up purchase.

I've never ordered clothes from Amazon before. I saw this and it's my favorite color so I crossed my fingers and took a chance. I'm actually presently surprised. It's long and I'm terribly short but my "curves" (that's a euphemism) keep it from dragging to badly. The material is soft too. I didn't have any problems and it didn't take horribly long to get here. I couldn't figure out where it was coming from though the package does say it's somewhere in Great Britain. No complaints and I'm about to buy another color.I bought the baby pink one. It was true to the color on my screen and I feel really girly and pretty in this so I'm officially a happy customer. Hope everyone else has a similar experience.
