I initially balked at the price of this mat - seems ridiculous for a sheet of synthetic rubber, but after extensive research, I have to say I'm happy with my purchase. I was initially looking at the interlocking foam tiles option, but after a bit of research, established that wasn’t the way to go, because of the way they easily disconnect and show wear and tear. I am a big believer in the philosophy of buying quality products once, and you’re done. Going cheap is false economy.I have a small town-house basement, with a low-pile carpeted concrete floor. It measures 13.5' x 12.5', so this mat covers virtually half the room.Why I like it:• It came superbly well packaged, which appeased my sense of buyer’s remorse at what I'd just spent. It also came in a nice, quality nylon sock which it rolls into, if you need to store or transport it.• There’s barely any odor from it, and I should know, since I basically live in the basement, thanks to COVID. I work there, study there and now exercise there.• It has memory foam capabilities – I have reasonably heavy dumbbells, up to 75lbs and a heavy bench, and they leave imprints in the mat, but once you put them away, the indents disappear quickly.• I have a spin bike which weighs around 150 lbs, and it is very stable.• The mat doesn’t slip on the carpet, even with fairly intense plyometric workouts.• It is super easy to clean – a major plus.• It is as comfortable as a yoga mat.• With snow falling now, it’s great protection for the carpet from wet shoes, and it seems durable, no scuffs or marks yet.There’s only one con I can think of, and that is:Be careful if you work out bare foot and sweat a lot, it does get slippery, but seems fine with shoes on – which technically you should be wearing, if you're playing with heavy weights.All in all, I’m delighted with it, despite the price. I’m hopeful that it seems durable and will last.

Ordered 2 for our new home gym. Perfect floor! Excellent packaging. Flatten easily. Used 10'x6' side-by-side, then taped them together down the middle with black 4" x 10' Gorilla Tape. Now we have a 10'x12' gym floor that stays in place with no gap or seam. Moving equipment around on top of the mat is easy to do. Great for working out on. The right amount of cushioning and support under feet. Highly recommend!

This mat is the perfect size for my room. It is affordable. It stays in place. It is easy to clean. I use it for aerobics, weight training and yoga on a daily basis. It sits on top of my 12x12 square foam mats which sits on top of carpet in my home gym. I would highly recommend it to anyone who is an occasional to avid fitness guru.

High quality but probably better on a hard floor for equipment. My indoor bike still wobbles even after I confirmed it’s level. The pad is just that thick and spongy, add carpet and it’s just not quite firm enough. But I’m keeping it. Great for stretching, etc

Perfect size for our home gym. We purchased the 10x6 Fitness Equipment Mat. It is Heavy Duty and easily fits our elliptical and spin bike with room left for other equipment. It was double boxed and arrived in perfect condition. There was no oder at all. At 7mm thick, we expect it will hold up well.

High quality, nicely packaged. Enough cushioning for most floor work (pushups, stretching etc.) Seems to hold up well to equipment on top of it.

I purchased this mat two weeks ago and have done a number cardio workouts on it. The surface of the mat is already showing wear and is deteriorating. I am so disappointed as that was my biggest frustration with my last mat and this one was much more expensive!

Works as designed

The mat arrived in 2 days! It was package well and one I put it down it lay nice and flat. I was surprised how cushy it it because some reviews said it is thin. I did one workout on it so far. I was not slipping and I like the feel of it with shoes and also just socks. I could only smell the plastic when I put my face right next to the mat. I’m super excited about it and hope it lasts a long time.

Very durable and comfortable, will save my laminate floor from the weights i am using
