The Hungover Cookbook

This is a great little cookbook & resource for overdoing it last night 🙃 Got this as part of my son’s girlfriend’s 21st birthday gift & of course had to check it out. I laughed many times, liked the sound of the recipes flipped thru & am pleasantly surprised with the knowledgeable & wise information, manageable recipes even when the title of this book looks correct (lol, the hilarity of the title alone! HAAA) well,I think my son & gf will absolutely love making meals from here even tho they don’t often drink or when responsibly drinking the night before :) I’ll definitely keep this in my “gift for others” list & happily gift again & look forward to trying some of the recipes myself & I don’t drink 😂 😀

This was a perfect small birthday gift for a friend of mine! For a 23-year-old, he's a bit of an aspiring chef as well as, of course, a frequenter of the bars with his buddies...hangovers are inevitable. I honestly bought this as more of a gag gift, but upon receiving it, it was clear that it was so much more than just a funny cookbook. With all the quizzes, jokes, and fun facts, this book ended up being incredibly insightful and educational as well! I recommend it to any of the young 20-somethings (and those who are still 20-somethings at heart) in your life!Product arrived on time and in perfect condition/packaging.

I bought this for a friend and after reading it before I wrapped it. I REALLY wanted to keep it for myself. That is how awesome and slick this gift looked. Cannot wait to try out some of these. For any young adult, whether going into college, just turning 21, moving into their first place, or for anyone, any age, as a christmas gift. This is perfect. Be real with yourself. Your good no alcohol-drinkin kiddo is definitely gonna be trying a taste one day. So have them be prepared to avoid that nasty hangover. Even if they "dont drink" it would still be a good gag gift that they could still use for their friends or whoever they know that will undoubtedly be hungover. No longer will they or their pals have an excuse of "I'm too hungover to come over," when you can whip this book out and solve that problem!

A straight forward cookbook that is both humorous and practical.We've all been there. The morning when we can't get out of bed and only wish some nonexistent household staff would stock out laps with greasy breakfast meat and scrambled eggs as we wash away our deepest morning after pain with Bloody Marys and mimosas. Alas, the concept of the "Hungover Cookbook" is a bit flawed. It's hard to imagine mustering the courage, let alone temper the stomach, to cook breakfast in the midst of historic hangovers. That being said, this book provides enough humor to motivate one through an attempt.I purchased this for a friend as a gag, but we did find use for it. Take it camping or leave at the vacation house. There will be those mornings and The Hungover Cookbook is something that you and your friends, soldiers in the morning after battle, will have fun working through.

I bought this during Christmas time for a white elephant gift, it was a big hit. The book has the different types of hangovers and recipes for each type hangover. I thought it was very funny and useful. The comments in the book made it fun to look through. It was useful for my family members who get hungover.

I ended up having to send this back due to shipping issues because it was a gift and her birthday passed by the time i got it (UPS delays not the sellers) BUT; when i did get it i took a glance at it and almost kept for myself. Looks like there are some good recipes in there and it is pretty funny. GREAT 21st or whatever age birthday gift for a chef or cook in your life. (that was my plan)

Has some cute stories, quizzes to find what kind of hangover you have, things like that. As a cookbook it's a little disappointing though -- a lot of the recipes have weird ingredients (curry leaves, bonito flakes, tahini paste) or fresh fruits and vegetables that you will have likely needed to plan ahead to have ready.I can't imagine anyone's going to be planning eagerly ahead for a hangover while shopping.

I bought this for my brother and he loved it! I also flipped through it and thought it was very funny and well written with some interesting recipes to try!!

Yay..... Easy to follow even if you don't drink

Funny book for a giftIt is english and very funny to give it as a gift to friends that like alcohol. My friend enjoyed it so much and I bet he tried the recipes already!
