Very interesting design
The corners of this thing are telescopic and spring-loaded: you pull them out and they kind of snap back and grip the phone, which centers itself perfectly due to the competing pressure from the four corners. Very smart design -- you can bump and bang the unit around and the phone won't fall out. I'm considering buying more of them and adapting them to fit in the car, for example, as a phone mount there. The unit is also very strong: you won't be able to snap it by mistake, for example. The only slight problem is the scooter: it's not possible to attach the unit to the handlebars in such a way that it sits straight, without obscuring the scooter's screen: this is an unavoidable function of the way the scooter's handlebars are designed: there's simply no good place to mount anything. But happily, the unit allows the phone to be rotated and moved in such a way that it's still readable but doesn't obscure anything.

it's ok
I have only used it once. My phone fell out and then I took it off my scooter. You can not have a phone case on your phone to use it. I have a phone case on my phone and it does not fit in snuggly enough to be able to use it. I took it off after the first ride because going over a bump, the phone popped out and fell on the ground.

Good but flimsy. home phone holder.
So far this is a decent product. I’m usually at 11 miles an hour on cruise control but I get up to 18.9/19 pretty often and so far on the Segway ninebot max of mine It’s handled the phone right. Are use an XS max phone with the case which fits well. I wouldn’t go any bigger. As long as you don’t have the tablet you has mount. this is a great product I lovE it. so far a wonderful addition to the scoot. edit: rip. was good for couple rides. it did not last long at all. i should have updated this ages ago. But, get what you pay for i guess. it works good though if your phone will fit in the gizmo. the product is made out of some type of hollow plastic molding, so repairing it is out of the question.

Great mount but wont work if you have a case
This is a really great mount and is easy to use and install, but know that if you have a case on your phone it will not fit in this mount.

Holds on to everything but the phone
The phone holder attaches without issue to an ES2. I have an iPhone 11 Pro Max with a slim case. It’s sometimes an acrobatic act to get the phone in a position where it will stay. Once you have it in, it holds generally well until you hit some large bumps. It doesn’t come flying out but you will need to stop to correct it, otherwise you will be losing your phone on the next bump! The material of my case is similar to the grips the holder uses, so could be remedied with a different material to make contact less slippery.

Barely fits on the Ninebot but works ok
I would have thought that a holder for this exact scooter would have been better designed to not cover the dash board. That said, it works ok. I had a crash and it broke. My fault not the fault of this holder. When i replaced it I wnt with a much less expensive option and it works just as well

Brilliant design, horrible application.
Works great as long as you don't hit any bumps or your phone will go flying. Purchase a $3 rubber band ball at target to fix it ( see pics). Wrap 30-50 bands around the joint to prevent it from moving around. Then, place multiple bands around each leg squeezing the legs together to put more pressure on the phone. I've tested it over 20 miles of rough terrain and it's worked great since the modification.

Lasted a 2 weeks, dropped my phone while touring
Like the headline says, it didn't last. It is not a secure solution and it dumped my phone cracking my screen. Construction is not strong and one of the arms snapped when trying to place the phone. Not recommended.

Fragile. Broken after few uses. Recommend something else
Very disappointed with this product. One arm that holds the cellphone broke after few uses. Can’t glue back together so basically money thrown in the garbage. Look for something else more sturdy and durable.

Avoid bumps
A really great phone mount for mounting your phone into when riding your scooter. I just wish it could also hold my phone while in its protect case, an otter box.If you do plan on getting this mount though, make sure to slow down when passing over any bumps or as it can make your phone pop out of the mount. It will more securely hold your phone during smooth rides.

Not secure enough
Doesn’t hold an iPhone with a very thin cover in a secure fashion. The vibration dislodges the phone. I’ve taken it off as I don’t want to risk a $1000 phone

Breaks easily
Do not recommend this product. Got it to use with my Segway Ninebot ES2 Kickscooter and one of the arms of the phone holder came completely snapped off. Breaks very easily and does not hold phone securely with a phone case on.
