Great with slight impracticalities
This is great if your like me and your hand shakes when trying to take a photo and film, also found it really useful for going live. Only downsides are that you have to shoot in landscape mode which isn't ideal for Tiktok and Instagram and if your someone with bigger hands you might find it a little fiddly to fix it in place.

Not directly compatible with modern phones
To use this with most phones now you need a converter as the connection uses a jack

Simple solution that could have been made so much better.
It's a little fiddly to align the lens of your smartphone through the ring light surround. The small-sized locking threads are a challenge for average adult-sized hands. The furry windscreen makes no account of the microphone out and headphone input which will add stress over time and damage the input/output sockets. The screw-in handle grip is too short and the microphone is built-in not allowing for customisation. It would be a bonus to be able to detach the microphone to add a wireless microphone receiver of one's own choice and even use that microphone with a cold-shoe mount as a separate item on a camera. The switchable low-cut filter does cut out unwanted background noise but makes your voice sound really weird and unusable, best to fix it in post-production. Why would anyone want to use the included fisheye lens? However, the wide-angel lens is just fine. Not really worth the £39.95 that I paid but I'm sure it will prove useful to some smartphone users.
