thin and sharp
Yes, these pins are a bit pricey but I prefer them. They are thin and sharp and go through fabric easily. I haven't had any issues with them breaking - of course, you never sew over any pins when sewing-that can fatally damage your machine.

Heads melt if ironed
I bought these because they are magnetic and stick to the pin pad. It never occurred to me to see if they would melt. They are very fine and sharp but not as generally useful as I had hoped.

Very thin
These pins are sharp but very thin and are made for use with thin fabrics, ie silk. They will not work well when putting cotton pieces together because if you are not careful they will bend.

Seriously the BEST pins I own!!
These pins are amazing, my absolute favorite!!! They are longer than your standard pin, which makes pinning easier. They are extremely fine, so if you hate using pins because of those annoying holes they leave behind in the fabric, these are perfect for you!! They are extremely flexible and can be bent easily so you have to use them delicately and they're more for lightweight to medium weight fabrics. I know your not supposed to and I don't do it all the time, but I've actually sewed over these pins with my juki 2000 and haven't broken a needle. The only problem I have is they are a little expensive since you are only getting 20 for 5 dollars but I loved the first set I ordered so much I got another one. Yes I spent 10 bucks on 40 pins.. that's how much I love them!! They are worth every cent but again, treat them gently!! Hope this helps anyone contemplating these "fine" clover pins!! -Jess

Excellent pins
I love these, I like them so much I bought a second lot. Fine, long and very sharp, and unlike similar cheap flower head pins the heads don't fall off after a few uses. I've noticed a few reviewers complaining that they bend easily, but that's the nature of the beast, if you want fine pins then you have to accept the fact they will bend easily. They're pricey for what they are, but worth it.

Super fine and sharp, fantastic pins.
These pins are just amazing - so fine and sharp, ideal for very light fabrics. They do bend very easily though and I find the next size up (red/orange heads) bitter for patchwork and cotton. These are better for organza, voile etc but are just a pleasure to use. Be warned though it is easy to sew through the heads as they are so flat!
