just the right amount of softness to a cold window, still allows all light in and to see out easily, valance is narrow so be sure to buy enough for desired effect

I like to switch curtains to let in more light in the summer. These are just perfect-- & nicer than some because they are of a heavier weight, yet still light enough for summer & not "gauzy" like some fabrics. Two of the windows I bought them for are 30" wide, & the door window is only 23". I was ok with the 30" windows, but I was wondering if they would be a little too bunched on the door. I took a chance & am glad I did. They're perfect & the price was lower than some of the others I looked at. I can't imagine them being any better than these. These are made nicely, & there is nothing of the "cheap" about them.

This is exactly what I needed for a transom window in a 1906 house. It matches the pattern of the window swags in the rest of the room! The ecru color is perfect and for the price the quality and look is excellent. On time delivery, well packaged. I definitely recommend this for the finishing touch when an antique lace pattern is needed for a window treatment as a valence or short, transom window.
