HIC Ramekins, Fine White Porcelain Souffle, 4-Inch, 8-Ounce Capacity, Set of 6

These were great. The only reason for four stars is that they came with a sticker on the bottom of the inside of the bowl. I couldn't get it out to save my life. Soaked it, scrubbed it, did everything I could. It was a pain. That being said after a long time of cleaning I was able to use them. They worked well. Made French Onion soup. The family loved it!

Excellent!!!...Durable and sturdy....Use them to make chicken pot pie and miniature cheesecakes....Everything bakes up nicely and tasty.

I was searching for ceramic ramekins to use for meat pies. (12 oz. was too small and 16 oz. is too big.) These are the perfect size portion and wall height height. [First, a Tip regarding all the negative Reviews about labels. Yes, it is stupid for a manufacturer to use a paper label with strong adhesive on the inside of this item, but you can get it completely off and it will be worth it. Gently and patiently a use fingernail, single edge blade, sharp chisel or whatever to remove as much of the paper as you can. Go slowly and more will come off in tact. Then remove the adhesive residue with a make-up remover pad or cotton ball moistened with a little nail polish remover and viola! - all gone! Be sure to wash the ramekins before use. The acetone will not affect the porcelain finish. Don't forget to remove the barcode label on the bottom too. It will peel right off.] These ramekins seem to be high quality - very uniform glaze with no observable pits or voids. It has a smooth unglazed bottom with no nibs to scratch things. I like the recessed inner top rim since it makes release easier. I am very happy with these. Packing was fine - all arrived unbroken.

I like the size of these items. They are basic but serviceable. My issue with them is that they shipped as if to break intentionally. The 6 are stacked together, which just a piece of cardboard in between them. You cannot just get them to replace the number that are broken. You can only ship them back and get a refund. It's not worth the hassle of sending them back and gambling again. Because of this issue, they are not the value item they seem. If you order them, you should expect 1-2 of the ones in the middle will be broken. Therefore, imagine this set contains 4, rather than 6 items for a more accurate price.

These little dishes are a lot more "rustic" than I expected. I was kind of expecting a lovely French porcelaine dish to match my Corning dishes. But that's okay. These fit the bill. I needed this size for my recipe, which was cooked in the pressure cooker. And these are study enough to hold up to that kind of heat. Very easy to clean, and store stacked in my cupboard. I am happy with these.

One arrived with a crack on the inside of the bowl so I rated this 4 stars instead of 5. I made some good sized chicken pot pies out of these that were more than enough to feed my family. Since the unused one has that crack I couldn't use it and threw it away. (amazon gave me a % back to make up for the broken one)I was a bit nervous that these wouldn't hold up in the oven @ 400 since the one had the crack in it, but the rest did fine.It would have been nice to have a full set of 6 (for extras or drop in guests) but thats ok,I can always buy more later if I want.Will update my review after I've used them more as to how well they hold up to regular use.****Update****They are a good size and are heavy enough that they don't go sliding all over the place. They bake very well, look nice, and are easy to clean.

I only gave it 4 not 5 stars. I like these type souffle bowls so I ordered it. I like the long lasting quality to them. But having just used them as bowls and washed it 4x in the diswasher, I noticed that one already has a crack in it. Man, I bought these for baking french onion soup for Thanksgiving, but now I'm going to be short one due to a crack. I still like them and that's why I gave it 4 stars.

I like the size, used once so far for chicken pot pies.Lost a star for stickers, dont put sticker that leave residue all over on the inside where food goes. Lost 20 mins of my life scraping and washing something that shouldn't have been there in the first place.

Love them, perfect size, beautifully finished. Got them when I was looking for Apilco. Perfect alternative

Was a little smaller than what I expected

These were exactly what I what I was looking for.When you get them, there will be a product sticker on the inside of each one, and a barcode sticker on the bottom of each. I had no issues peeling these off with no visible residue.Like someone else mentioned, these don't really stack into each other so they'll take up space. For me, I had expected this before purchasing so no issue.
