Fryer Basket
Before I used it I washed the pot and the fryer basket was rusty, the edges were rough and it looked used...I had to keep it because I needed to fry a lot for the holidays! Other members of my family purchased the same pot and it was in excellent condition.

Way overpriced.
Add says Johnson-Rose all over it. Sounded American. Should have read the reviews more carefully and done a few more web searches. Manufacturers stamp on the bottom is not Johnson-Rose. Not American. Seems pretty light weight. Haven’t used it yet so can’t complain about the functionality. Yet. Did another web search moments ago and found what looks like the same pot for less than a third of the price.

Every ad I've seen for this item, including Wal,mart, indicates a thermometer is included. I did not receive one. I could have and will from now on bought this and othe such items from Walmart and received it as advertised.
