Works great for the price!
I wanted to review this product because I had trouble making a decision to buy it, based on the current questions and answers. It may be the perfect little monitor for some but not work at all for others.ALSO, I'm working on a DIY project that requires a very small computer that runs Windows 10 or 11, so I'm NOT using it for a Raspberry Pi.PROS- Works with Windows 11 out of the box, both display and touch.- Uses a full size HDMI connector so all of my standard monitor cables worked fine.- Gets power from the same USB cable that supplies the touch interface. If you want to use the screen with keyboard and mouse, just use the "power" USB port. I tried it both ways but my project requires a touch screen.- The image is sharp. This is hard to capture with a phone camera, but everything is very readable (in low light- see the next part)CONS- The "case" is 4 pieces of laser cut, black plexiglass. This isn't the worst thing but it adds a lot of weight and doesn't provide a lot of protection. I couldn't find a proper case online so I might have to 3D print one.- This monitor is not very bright and there is no way to adjust the brightness (there MIGHT be a way, but it would have to be done through software. I've reviewed all of the available documents and downloads and I don't see brightness adjustments offered). If you're using this in a room with dim to medium lighting, it is ACCEPTABLE. If you need to use this outdoors, it's probably not going to work. The seller claims 400 lumens. If true, that converts to 117 cd/m2, which looks about right when compared to any of my 300 cd/m2 monitors.- The touch screen is okay but I couldn't give it 5 stars because the sensitivity seems to fall off around the edges, which can be annoying on Windows. Again, this might be fine if you're using bigger fonts/buttons etc.All said, I've had this thing on continuously for many days and it's working fine. If the cons don't bother you, this is a great little touch screen for the price.

Prepare For Some Work, Get a Reward
Look at the photos carefully so you can be sure you know what you're getting. it is a case for a 7 inch touch screen, but it's not going to turn your Raspberry into a tablet (not completely anyway). With that understanding, just get ready for some work.Getting the unit together was quite fiddly. There are links above in the questions and I strongly suggest you follow them. They're not 100% clear, but with a little work and a little re-work, you can arrive at a functioning touch screen that also carries your Pi behind it. The construction, when you get it done right, is quite solid. If you were to drop the screen on an edge, it would be well protected. Drop it on the face and all bets are off.Overall, the screen quality is actually quite decent. I've been using it for a while now and I'm very happy. I've tried using an on-screen keyboard, but I've found that to be more than a little problematic. I may try a small bluetooth keyboard I've got sitting around. The screen is responsive to touch. It works quite well. Just make sure you get the right drivers installed, or you'll be resetting your OS, which isn't any fun at all (I only had to do it once, HA).Go into this eyes open, and you'll be happy. If you're expecting the wrong thing, you won't be. I'm personally quite pleased with the set up and the screen. It's doing what I needed.

Great value for money, a few things to keep in mind
I bought this case + screen for a pictures solution with my RPi. The price is unbeatable and it works perfectly. My experience is the following:The setup is not bad but keep in mind that the documentation is not in single document, so, you have to pay attention to the few manuals that the seller has linked. Yet, it didn't take me more than 30 minutes to have it properly configured on my RPi.The design of the case could improve, while is not like is broken or non-functional, it doesn't have a nice layout to help to hide or arrange the cables in a nice way; everything is super visible and it makes it look like a ticking bomb. The RPi fits perfectly on the back, I just wish there was a way to have a cover for the RPi so that it is not simply exposed. The screen resolution fits perfectly the Pi once the drivers are installed so, take your time to do the right setup or you will find the aspect ratio to look a little bit odd.My biggest issue with this screen is the contrast/view angle. If you are planning to use it to display information to people around (for something that you have on your desk or for people walking around the house/office), then this might not be the best solution, you have to be almost perfectly in front of the screen to be able to look at it, that plus the glare can make difficult to see the image. But I completely understand that this monitor is not meant or advertised to be that kind of product so, I am not complaining but rather just sharing the information to set the right expectations for other people.I hope you find this review useful!

Great little display
This display is working great with my RPi 3b. I was unable to make it work using my ssh only installation and the fbc frame buffer software. Once I installed the GUI Raspian which was included with the display, and followed the included directions, the display works great. The touch screen is sensitive and responds rapidly. The frame is attractive and sturdy enough, but it would help if instructions or a drawing was included showing which bolts go in which holes. Some of the bolts only go though some of the layers, not all of the way through. I give it 4-3/4 stars, which is pretty good for the price!
