This eyeglasses holder works great for me. I have very poor vision, and for years have had trouble with my glasses disappearing at night, getting knocked off the bedside table, the cat up to mischief, or just not being able to locate my glasses easily in the mornings. I've used this eyeglass holder for a few months now, and it's solved those issues.The case is made of plastic, with a thin velvet non-slip fabric on the base. The case appears to be made of an imitation leather and lined with a soft plush fabric for the interior. Prior reviews noted a residue on the plush that got onto lenses; I haven't had this issue. The wide base size along with the velvet backing prevents movement. My glasses are narrow but there is plenty of room for a larger pair.

Yes, I'm the person with glasses resting on my head wondering where my glass are. Purchased 6, one for each area of need in our home. Family chuckles, but I no longer wonder where my glasses are, one in each holder. BEST FEATURE: The LINING! I found the eyeglass keeper while looking for a different product and bought one for my husband and one for myself. We both LOVE them! I was tired of my glasses falling off my nightstand, or getting scratched by my phone, or water, or what have you. These little gems provide a soft and safe place to keep our glasses overnight. The footprint is small on my nightstand so they don't take up much space and for just a few dollars have completely solved our issues with what to do with our glasses at night!

Great way to keep track of your glasses and no chance of scratches. This is my third holder like this - actually wore the first two out after several years. I took off a star because the Holder has a strong metallic odor when it first arrives and the smell transferred to the glasses when they sat in it, but the odor dissipates after about a week of being "aired out". If giving as a gift, let it stand open for a week before wrapping it up.

I purchased 4 of these for my husband. He mounted one in the side-by-side 4 wheeler and uses the other's in various places; like the garage and barn. I was pleased with the wide base and will definitely consider them in the future. They will protect his glasses when he needs to take them off for different chores he is doing. I bought one of these for my mother on her birthday in February and my father liked it so much that I bought him one this one in fact as well. For years I thought her has one glasses and always laid his glasses down on the nightstand next to the bed.needless to say they've fallen on the floor more time so that he can count now that my father is getting older and seeing is getting more difficult it's even harder for him to find the glasses in the morning now with this cool glass storage case is easy for him to find them in safely put them on and prevent them from falling in the floor.The botto of the case has a nonslip type of material on it so that it is stable on pretty much any surface and the inside is completely lined with fake fur. The Furrer does not come off on the glasses but as a cushion affect to protect the glasses from scratching.

Okay - I feel like a granny saying this - I love this thing. I have three now! I have one on the kitchen counter, one by my bedside, and one in my son's room. We always know where our glasses are now! I have tons of readers and am always losing them. Now I always have at least two go to pairs snug in this holder. The inside is fuzzy, the outside isn't pretty but it doesn't look cheap. Our glasses are not large and thin, I'm not sure how a larger thick pair would work. Might be a snug fit, if a fit at all. Wish they came in fun colors…I'd order more!
