I have been looking for a colander to wash my fruit and be able to let air dry and this one fit the bill. Not only in my favorite color (red) it is large enough for a 5 lb of apples, plus other vegies. It stretches across my sink with the adjustable handles and when I am done it flattens out for easy storage. Great buy. I will probably get another one for my motor home.

UPDATE: it has now been more than a year since I wrote the glowing review you see below. I STAND BY EVERY WORD OF IT!! These colanders are an AWESOME value and they look just as good as the day we bought them. FYI: We moved out of state and no longer have a "one butt kitchen" or limited cabinet space, so even though we don't need a collapssible collinder for space saving reasons I would buy them again and again. -- but with something this good a quality...i don't need to. They also wash up great in our dishwasher -- something we didn't have in our old house-- no shape shifting at all. BUY THESE!!!!We've had this set for a couple of months now, and are quite happy with it. We have a small kitchen and the collapsible feature is good for drawer and cabinet storage, but also allows them to hang from a hook on the wall, without sticking out. If you hang anything on a wall in a "one butt kitchen", laying flat is a requirement. That means these babies take up minimal real estate and stay on the wall as we squeeze past. The silicon and overall construction seems built to last and very sturdy, yet flexible.Now, if we can just keep them away from the flame on our gas burning stove ... (the tragedy suffered by our last non-collapsible, plastic, shape-shifting, melty model. --not just once, but twice!) I think this two pack will last us for years.FYI: Even though the 2nd melt made the old colander no longer able to fulfill its intended purpose, there is an upside: it rendered a rather artistic result, closely resembling the clock made famous by Salvador Dali.AND it forced us to upgrade to a better grade of colander!This COLLAPSIBLE COLANDER SET, was an excellent choice and something we should have bought a long time ago!

I recently purchased this product to replace the one I bought from Target 6 yrs ago.I loved the color because it matches my knives and utensils.We just used it for the first time and it was washed in the dishwasher with some dishes that had baked Ziti in it. Now this is what it looks like.Cheaply made and clearly not stain resistant.My other one stayed bright orange and yellow no matter what was washed with it or that it was in contact with.Guess not worth the ratings it has or the $11 I paid for 2 of them.

I thought these would be handier than my metal stand bys but I was wrong. Terrible for pasta. Holes are mostly in the bottom so pasta will not completely drain. The holes in the side are basically useless. I use these for rinsing vegetables and they are great, but thats pretty much it. If you need to thoroughly drain ie: spinach, pasta etc then these are not good. Rinsing veges or salting, perfect.

I just love the collapsible feature as it doesn't clutter up my cabinet with space. I love that there are two sizes. Will use them all the time. And the red color is perfect. Thank you for a great product.

We had a previous model for years prior to ordering a new colander and the older version served us well for many more years than we expected. We just received our new colander in the mail and have already used it 2 times to date. As far as a true testimonial, my opinion is mainly based on the use of our older colander. We have not had enough time to truly test our new colander to determine if it is consistent with the quality of our expectations, but so far so good!

These are surprisingly bigger than I assumed they'd be based off their dimensions alone.I use them almost daily for rinsing things like fruits, canned beans, and vegetables. And every so often for pasta and other hot items. They've held up well so far.My only issue is the holes in the bottom aren't the most efficient so there's a decent amount of water pooling that doesn't drain unless you leave it sitting a while or tip it to the side.

I like that neither of these colanders have a handle. Sometimes the smaller one does and it gets in the way. Both have enough of a stand on the bottom that it keeps away from the bottom of my sink. I had my last ones for at least 5 years before the plastic where it folds cracked. I think that's pretty good considering I often put them in the dishwasher and use them a lot. I wish these were more holes along the side of them, but it's not a big deal and I knew they didn't when I purchased them.
