Very nicely made and finished. When you open the mailer package, you'll see a sturdy bag with a translucent window and it will make you think they're not finished properly; they look like brass through that package window!!! But once you take them out you'll find they're beautifully-finished gold.

I am not a particularly handy person, so I was a bit scared about drilling into my guitar. I watched a few instructional YouTube videos, though, and convinced myself I could do it. And I was right! One of the videos I watched suggested that you put down painters tape before you drill the pilot hole, to prevent any chipping on the wood or finish. I will pass that suggestion onto you, as it worked well for me. From beginning to end the installation process took me about 5 minutes going really slowly and carefully.The strap button has been installed for over a month now and it’s still holding up perfectly. I appreciated that the button came with a piece of felt to use between the button and the neck to protect the guitar.

I put these on the neck heel of two different guitars. I'd not done this before and was a bit nervous about drilling into my guitars. Turned out not to be too hard. Put down painters tape where you plan to place the button. Use the button as a guide for the drill to keep it straight.

I use these to add strap locations on the neck butt on a couple of my acoustics that didn't have them. I prefer this to tying the strap to the headstock. installation was relatively simple, just drilled a pilot hole put the screw/felt washer, and button together and screwed it snug. they are working out fine.and with a nethes
