We hung our TV yesterday with this wall mount. Overall, it was a good choice, but there were a couple of drawbacks.1st of all, we had to buy the right sized bolt to attach the brackets to our TV. The package did come with a large variety of parts, but not what we needed. I don't really fault the manufacturer for this, since our TV is a really old model plasma. We looked up the right size and it only cost a few dollars at the hardware store.2nd, and more critical, the part of the mount that attaches to the wall is two pieces (look at the last picture). In other words, each bracket that attaches to your TV will hook onto a different piece that attaches to the wall. Which I could live with, but these two wall pieces are about 13-14" wide, so it's not possible to attach each to two studs (the standard distance between studs is 16" apart). Maybe two screws (one on the top row of holes and one on the bottom row) into a stud would be sufficient, but it seemed like a bad idea to us - trying to hold all the weight at one pivot point. Plus the instructions say to use 3 screws. Now, we don't have a ton of experience mounting TVs but the last mount we bought was one piece that attached to the wall, so it's attached to 2 studs, distributing the weight better.So, the solution we came up with was to attach a board to the wall wide enough to cover the whole area behind both wall brackets. The board is screwed into 2 studs, and then we screwed the 2 wall mount pieces into the board each with the 3 screws the instructions recommended (in a triangle pattern). Since this mount holds the TV pretty close to the wall, I didn't even need to paint the board. It wasn't a difficult solution, but we had the tools & materials and experience with mounting heavy things to the wall to come up with a sturdy fix.I still gave this 4 starts because 1) other than that issue it seems like a decent mount, 2) it was really inexpensive, and 3) it included a great little level. We have a level like this somewhere in the house, and like lots of very useful tools it seems to be missing. So we were glad to get another.

The product works, it will hold a TV on the wall, and even allow it to tilt 15 degrees. Installation is only slightly more difficult than a mount with a solid backplate, which is to say not that difficult if you have a very basic understanding of hand tools and wall construction.This is a quality product, it is a simple design, that is about all there is to say about it. Is it as easy to install as it would be if you called a professional to have it done? No, it isn't, it is much more difficult than that, but if that is what you are looking for there are probably several pages of companies in your local yellow pages willing to help you out.If you don't understand how walls are built, this and every other wall bracket is going to be a challenge to install, but that isn't because of a bad design, that is because of your lack of skill and knowledge. If you are on the fence about tackling this project and are worried about the quality of the product, don't be, the product is fine, if you are on the fence because you aren't sure you are capable, then have a pro do the job, a poorly installed wall mounted TV is dangerous to people and the TV set.The only issue I have with the instructions and packaging is that it comes with concrete anchors and the instructions specify that this bracket should be installed on a concrete wall or solid hardwood wall, that is their way of escaping liability if the customer can't find studs in a hollow wall. That is a bit of a cop out, and they used it to avoid adding information on how to locate and attach to studs, which I guess I can understand, but understandable or not it is still a cop out, so minus one star.

I needed a wall mount for the TV in my kids room. This one was well priced so I took a shot at it.I placed my order on a Thursday and it arrived the following Tuesday. Kudos to the shipper for the prompt shipping/delivery.When I saw the box, I was worried as it looked smaller than it should. Nothing to fear however, because once I opened the product box, I saw that the back plate for the mount is split, allowing it to be shipped in a smaller package. Once it's mounted on the wall, it doesn't matter, so you get the benefit it being shipped in a smaller box with no penalties.I measured out my studs in the wall and where I wanted the TV to hang, drilled the holes and hung 1 side of the backing plate mount. Using the level that was included (thank you!), I marked off the second side and bolted that piece into place. no troubles or hassles at all. The quality of the fasteners included seemed to be fine and they tightened up with no trouble at all. The tilting feature works fine as well...2 knobs allow for easy adjustments and lock it down once you've got it set.My only concern is that the mounts that attach to the TV are pretty thin and look like they could be bent pretty easily. BUT, they are only bearing the weight of the TV (@ 35 lbs) and aren't exposed to any side loads or anything, so I expect that they will hold the TV forever without any issues. But they do look thin/cheap.I'm very impressed with this mount and will be ordering another once I'm ready to hang the TV in our other bedroom.

Polyvalent permet de fixer au mur un téléviseur de grande taille , pour ma part 152 centimètre pose extrêmement facile et rapide à une seule personne , par contre pour accrocher le tv il est préférable d'être deux. Très bon matériel solide et simple peu s'orienter de 15 degrés vers le haut et ver le bas . Le vendeur est très réactif livraison 2 jours après la commande ........cerise sur le gâteau "le prix"
