Works perfectly
The strip fit perfectly. I put a dab of silicone at the top to hold it in place. The door closes tight and does not leak.

Trim To Install
It served its purpose once I had it installed but the installation did not go well. I ordered this based on the dimensions of the slot on my shower door. The total width of the strip was fine but the raised center section was too wide. I had to trim about 1/16" off it the entire length of the strip. That was very tedious and time consuming to get a straight edge and not cut through the strip. Once I got it in it mates up with the other magnetic strip and the door stays shut.

Not worth it.
Didn’t fit right. Had to trim it as it was too wide. Magnetic strength is very weak.

Just what I needed
I had first ordered the wrong size and they took the returned item and I ordered the correct size. Worked fine.

Magnet is Dead
This was an exact fit for an existing magnetic strip that had lost its magnetism over time. It was pretty well lodged in the tracks but a liberal application of WD-40 loosened the old strip right up. This new strip installed very easily and I only had to trim the extra length.BUT, the magnetic property did not exist. I could feel a slight magnetic pull when holding up a small screw driver to the strips, but not enough to hold the shower door shut. Too late to return.

Size is important!
These were not advertised with the width, so they did not work on our application. We couldn't use them. It would really help if the width & length were specified on each product.

Measure carefully. It could make the difference between a strong Magnetic pull and a weak one.
This didn't work for me. I measured it exactly and it was too wide. I also don't fault the manufacturer, shower doors with this magnetic strip embedded in them are a chore to change. Maybe I had some of the old strip stuck in there but it was just too wide to fit. I took some scissors and trimmed off the sides to help it along but it was a painful pushing process. Once I got it in, the magnetic strip didn't seem powerful at all.I'm not a chemist or physicist nor am I a great DIYer. So I can't with any integrity blame the product because off the door it seems like a really strong magnet but on the door it goes dead. I hope you have better luck.
