Best Support Stockings I Have Ever Owned!
A little pricy for just one stocking but they are the best support stockings I have ever owned and believe me I have tried them all! Made of Polyester, Dry Natural Rubber, Rayon, Latex Rubber, & Nylon. A bit of a challenge getting them on but worth the effort. I wish they made more colors of this same stocking I.e.; suntan, brown, black, navy, and white. I would love to wear these with dress pants. Also I wish they made this stocking (same material blend) with just open toe, in total coverage, and thigh high. The other support stockings that do come in just open toes or different colors don’t have the same material blend and the sizing changes. Sizing can be a challenge for me because I am diabetic and because of the swelling in my feet and calf’s change almost daily, I had to buy a couple of pairs of each each size and measure every day to determine what size I should wear that day. And some days one calf could be more swollen than the other so I have the option of wearing the bigger size on the calf that is most swollen. Living in Florida, because of the material blend, I was a bit concerned about the heat and breathability but have had no issues. They are very soft and comfortable. I recommend only hand washing with a mild detergent, no fabric softener, and only air drying. These stockings almost never go on sale in the stores and finding two of the same size in a store has been a challenge. It would sure help if the company mailed out coupons or Amazon notified you when they went on sale. I am very pleased with this seller because shipping was extremely fast! I will probably be back to buy more of the same. And I may try other 3M Futuro men’s/unisex stockings even though they might not be made of the same material composition. Recommendation try for yourself. I am sure you won’t be disappointed!

Best non-binding knee high compression stockings!
These are the only compression knee highs I've found that do not bind at the top of the stocking. There is no elastic band at the top, the entire stocking is a heavier knit fabric that form fits to your leg. Note, pay attention to the size chart which uses a calf measurement. I take an XL in these where others are a L. Also note these are not opaque - these are solid stockings. My husband teases me that I look like a colonial with them on, but I don't care, they're comfortable and they work well. If you have sensitive arches the edge binding on the part that goes under your foot could cause irritation. This only bothers me if I'm wearing my arch supports - probably because it makes the shoe fit tighter overall. For this reason I would be interested if they offered this same material in an open toe style (not toe & heel). I tried the Futuro open toe knee highs, but the material was like pantyhose and had an elastic band at the top which cuts off my circulation. Bottom line - they were not as comfortable as these.

These worked for me
When you have a problem of retaining water after taking some medications, this may be one solution. These stockings have other uses as well, which I am not addressing here. My doctor recommended that I get a similar open toe and heel stocking after my legs swelled due to a problem with medication. The drug store wanted about $80 for a pair, plus about a $50 measuring fee. This Futuro product is much less expensive, as you can see. I could figure out the size I needed without help, as I figure out all the sizes for the thousand other things I use. Within four days, my legs had returned to normal. I strongly believe you should only get any product of this type on the recommendation of your doctor.Concerning measurement for size: I fully understand that some people, as they age, or for other reasons, cannot understand instructions for a product of this type. Those people should have help in getting the right sized product. Those are the only people that I believe should be paying for a measurement at the drugstore. Anything else is a ripoff. As you can see from my ability to write this review, the chances are pretty good that I can figure out the diameter of my calves are and how much distance is between the floor and my knee. One thing that distinguishes this product from regular support hose is that there is a graduated scale of support, with more pressure at the lower portion of the leg, and gradually less toward the top.Initially, I was concerned that the product pressurized the areas that it covered, but did not reduce swelling in the lower part of the foot that was not in the sock. This proved to not be a problem. My entire leg reduced in swelling over a few days.
