When using the camera it is awkward to have the cover
It fits well and has access for the memory chip that is easy to reach. The outside cover of the lens is poorly designed because in order to use the camera you have to remove the entire leather wrap, which blocks both the lens and the viewer. That means when you are carrying the camera to actively take pictures, either you have to find a place to put the leather cover somewhere or simply don't bring it on the hike with you. Neither are ideal. There is no way to have it still attached but out of the way.

Perfect
I have been using this case for a year and a half and I love it. It looks brand new and I use my camera almost daily. It fits my Panasonic LUMIX DMC-ZS100. I definitely recommend it.

Great case let down by a poor underside tripod screw
If the bottom screw to secure the case to the camera was easier to screw in and out this would get five stars. But really, it's super hard to get in and out -- I screwed it in and realised that without a weird screwdriver I'm unlikely to get it out again. I really like that the over-cover can be completely snapped off.Unlike cheaper cases, this has an opening for the battery to come out, so that's a plus.

all parts looking good, no maintenance needed and has saved my camera ...
I must have had this thing for five years already, no fraying, all parts looking good, no maintenance needed and has saved my camera from SO many falls :) Connects well to tripods, easy to snap/unsnap. Another satisfied customer.

Four Stars
Nice leather case. Looks great, feels great, fits great. Strap is okay, nothing special, but it matches the case.

Pretty - just not useful.
As a travel case, this product does not completely protect the camera and leaves the sides exposed to dirt, dust, & what ever else is in the bottom of your carry bag/suitcase. To use the camera, you have to remove the top half of the cover which is too big to pocket - and then what? You have to set it down, which is sometimes not possible if you're on the move, or put it in a bag. If you have to carry another bag, why do you need this case?On the plus side, the case is well made and stylish (even if horribly impractical).I'd rate this case higher if it had a one-way "pull dot" type snap on the bottom that would allow the top half of the case to hang by the snap while using the camera.

Very good quality
Perfectly fit. Very good quality. I can't understand it is real leather or not.

Dificulta el acceso a los controles de enfoque
El producto es muy bueno y protege excelente la cámara, sin embargo la parte baja de la funda dificulta un poco para cambiar de AF, AF Macro y MF.

Cover the Camera.
This case seems difficult to pin down the word 'leather'. Leather look, certainly, but it hasn't the smell of real hide nor the feel of real leather on the edges so it is probably a modern plastic material. The one supplied for my camera was a poor fit being very tight along the length of the base section and with the tripod bush screw not in perfect alignment with the threaded socket of the camera body. With a Hoya UV filter in place on the lens and the lens cap applied the upper section of the case was then hard to close over the body and fasten the single press-stud underneath. There will be further dissent from those who prefer the camera strap to fasten to the bottom part of the case rather than to the camera itself; 'Megagear's' choice leaves large slots at each side for the strap to attach to the camera and the strap itself--having been confined to the inside of the case for travel--was quite stiff and unyielding when first used. Overkill for a 400 gram camera.

A Really Good Case Spoiled
The case is attractive made from quality materials and very well put together and compared to the Lumix version, really well priced. However, the camera (LX100) does not fit very well as the case is a fraction too small and really tight. The base of the camera has to be forced into the space and there is no accommodation at the back for the protruding viewfinder eye-cup or the hand grip on the camera. The leather is very stiff but I am hoping it will soften and ease in time. The front cover barely passes over the front of the lens when you open and close it so if you use filters, you may not be able to properly close the cover. I cannot fully close mine at this stage. It is such a shame that a really nice case has been spoiled by a lack of attention to the product it has been designed to fit (or not).
