This is a nice looking set and feels great when using in the door. However, as several one star ratings indicated there is a problem with installing the deadbolt. Here is the message I sent the seller: "As noted in numerous other comments on Amazon, deadbolt would not work properly, sometimes key would not come out, other times bolt would only go out half way. Send query to company website and got no response. I did follow one commenters hint about rotating the flat pin and finally figured out how to get the deadbolt to work properly. Bottom line is your instructions SUCK and are very incomplete. Suggest you create more detailed instructions so buyers will not think it is broken. For Example: BEFORE installing the deadbolt, hold the deadbolt key mechanism, with key installed, and the bolt "IN" (not in out locked position). The flat rod should be horizontal. Key should go in and out easily. Now, attempt to turn the key clockwise (Don't block top of slot with fingers or plastic lever will not move). Assuming key will turn the bolt to the "out" or latched position, the flat rod will be vertical. Key will be horizontal. Turn key 1/4 turn counterclockwise and it should come out easily, with the deadbolt remaining in "out" position. IF THIS DOES NOT WORK, pull the key mechanism out and rotate the flat rod again (possibly one direction or other) and try above procedure again until system works correctly, key can be removed and bolt extends all the way.

I guess it's my fault for not scrolling through all the pictures to find that these ARE NOT your standard entry locks. Most entry locks you need to lock and unlock with keys on the outside and they have a bolt you can just turn on the inside to lock, but these you need keys to lock and unlock on the inside too. Such a bummer. Wish they had made this clearer on the picture they used and didn't make you scroll through all the pictures to figure this out. Again, I do take responsibility for not doing so, I just don't want anyone else to make the same mistake I did!

Does not seem to be real sturdy. I am concerned that these will not hold up to time. Also the strike plates that attach to the door jamb are very small in size and can not be used in a standard predrilled door jamb as the screw holes don’t even come close to matching the predrilled holes. On the plus side we purchased the 4 sets of door locks and in total came with 20 keys which we placed in our lockbox but very cool considering most sets I have seen come with 2 keys per lock set which would have totaled 8 keys but these came with 20 matching keys that work in all 4 lock sets.

Horrible. I know how to change locks and deadbolts. No dumb blonde here. Took the deadbolt out of the box and installed it lickity split. Put the door handle in lickity split. Got to looking at the key holes and one is running up and down and the other side to side. No good. I take the deadbolt out and tried a few different ways. Finally found a combination to get it lined up inside and out. Took the key to unlock and lock the deadbolt and it only unlocks the door. When you try to lock the door the key gets stuck. It only UNLOCKS the deadbolt. The door handle key will let you lock and unlock the door and give you back your key. I opened all 3 packs of deadbolts and they all did the same thing! Called the so called "tech support" and got put on hold 3 times before they just hung up on me. For the price of these locks I would have expected a much better quality if product.

It was time to update some of the fixtures in my home. I love these Oil Rubbed Bronze door handles. I priced them at Lowes at almost twice the cost of these on Amazon. I'm a Prime member so I never worry about ordering something without knowing the quality of the build because returns are so easy. I wasn't disappointed in these at all. The quality is wonderful! The installation instructions were simple and I was able to replace all of the door handles in my home over the course of a couple of days. The only snag in the process was that the new handle base is smaller than the originals. I had to touch up the paint on every door. There are 16 doors in my home so the thought of painting every door was daunting, but now that it's finished I'm very happy with how it looks.

When we installed both sets we found one of the lock buttons just merrily turns around and around and around and does not lock at all. The deadbolts can only be turned with the key left int he hole permanently and the locks even after oiling them are incredibly hard to turn. We bought two set and we have lost our money and will have to put them in the trash. I would highly not recommend. Before we removed them the actual handles were falling out of the inside but YES THEY WERE INSTALLED CORRECTLY!!Really a waste of money.

These lock sets are shiny brass, but they are not very solid. I expect that we will be replacing them within the next year or so. Should have gone with Schlage. If I hadn't already installed them, (I had already removed the other lock sets before opening the package - which do not recommend doing!!) I would definitely send them back. I don't feel that they are particularly secure, like you could hit it with a rock & break it. Most of the time I lock the door I hold my breath hoping that the deadbolt knob doesn't break off.

I have used Kwickset, Slage and Defiant on these exterior doors and this lockset needs more routing of the wood to fit Then the deadbolt does not easily glide - on all 3 doors I have to very forcefully lift up on the hadle to get the deadbolt to fit. Even when testing with the door open (deadbolt just going in and out to air, not the door jamb) all 3 locks are very hard to turn either on the key side or the inside side. This is one of the worst purchases ever on Amazon, and of all the luck, I purchased more than a month before installing because of delays, so all of my money is lost.

cheep and work well, but not a real stopping powerthe doors are the weakest link, not locks,doors, the way are mass built these days, shutter with an easy kick, so locks are only formality

Be aware that there is no turnpiece for the interior side of deadbolt (it is a double cylinder) and therefore would not meet any building codes in regards to fire. You would need to open door from the inside with a key in event of a fire.

This set arrived a couple of days early, which was nice. My husband had a little difficulty with the deadbolt, but overall easy to install. We are very please with it and it looks great!

Nice product and work great. Come with all the attachments.Didn’t realize the deadbolt comes as a double key lock but it still works out for us. Now my toddler can’t play with the locks
