Ball whipped straight to the ground. You can watch the ball roll and get caught in a new pocket as it moves. Took out one lace shooter and the top sidewall shooter to get by, but it's clear that it needs to be restrung. Regret not buying it from a shop that strings heads.Update: I've changed my overall rating now that I've strung both this and the shield 100. This is a much better head and I've updated my rating to reflect that. But consider it a kit that comes with the mesh that you have to string yourself instead. A couple of good videos on YT to follow (though you still need to adjust those for a younger player). Don't make the mistake that I did assuming it would be ready to go out of the box.

Great head, very sturdy and light l. I like it a lot more than the shield.

The head is great but the stringing was not right. Throws would just go straight into the ground. Now we completely restrung it, everything is great. I recommend not offering the stringing service unless you hire someone with lacrosse stringing knowledge to do the job.
