Hi, thanks for your question. As the video showing, we've punched laminated photo. We suggested that punch 1 sheet of laminated paper each time.

Hi, thanks for your question. RAYSON SD-1201 can punch A5 paper with 15 holes at the 210mm side.

Q: Could this be used in making Portrait legnth Calendars

If you mean does it bind along the long edge of A4 then yes, there is an adjustment for hole punching at each edge but not for reducing the number of holes to punch on the shorter size. I hope that makes sense.

Q: Can you use wire binding on this or just plastic?

I am using only the plastic spirals and they do a great job. I had over 2000 loose sheets of information just piled up now they sit nice and tidy
