Great Label Printer... Hardly any technical support included for Apple Mac but works great.
Using it on Mac computers. Although the site mentions that it works on a Mac, the documentation and information contains nothing about connecting to a Apple Computer. Since I'm in IT, the lack of technical support didn't faze me, but it might leave others lost. Just a quick start sheet for Mac owners would probably be best - and if it was included would have given this 5 stars Love it and is working great. I bought the 3x2 1" core labels from OfficeSmartLabels on Amazon and they work together great. I haven't tried it with a 4x6 shipping label, but it printer our Code 39 &128 barcodes flawlessly. Packed very well for damage-free shipping and shipped on time.Note for Macs: just connect the USB, power on. Went to System Preferences / Printers, chose the + for add a new printer, selected the Zebra. You'll need to select the software and type in Zebra in the search box. Select a Zebra driver (there are a few of them and you may need trial and error. I used the EPL driver) The software is pre-loaded on OSX. The only thing you may need to create is a custom paper size depending on what you're putting through this workhorse.

Worth the Extra Money!
I originally purchased a Dymo label printer only to find that it was incompatible with Windows 10 Professional. I spent several hours tearing my hair out trying to get it to work, only to return it to Amazon.Foolishly, I thought I could get away with a cheaper printer because the Zebra DOES cost more. However, I decided to take the plunge and buy the Zebra.I was NOT disappointed! Installation was a breeze. I installed the software for editing labels and Windows 10 immediately recognized it when I plugged it into the USB port. It consistently prints out crisp and clear thermal-based labels for shipping, is quiet, and responsive. I use it to print shipping labels from Stamps.com software (a division of Pitney Bowes). The Stamps.com software recognizes and uses the Zebra printer without fail.Yes, it does cost more than the Dymo label printers, but the construction materials are far superior and the installation is a breeze. Finally, it has backwards compatibility as far as connections are concerned: if you have older PCs or Servers that utilize Centronics Parallel or RS232-Serial connectors, this printer is covered. In addition to the USB port, the other two connections are available - I like this versatility. You can't ask for better. Finally, you can buy generic label spools that work just fine with this printer - unlike Dymo that requires you buy their brand or risk problems with printing. In the end, the initial price may be higher, but the TCO (Total Cost of Ownership) will make up the difference in a long-lasting workhorse.

I couldn't be happier with my purchase!
I LOVE my new printer. I got this after the Dymo4XL I had finally bit the dust. IMHO the Dymo has always been very difficult to deal with in any level. The thing seemed cheaply made, and was really hard to switch out labels for without using many of them. This one is a piece of cake. It was tricky to set up- for me- I feel sure that it wouldn't be as much for someone who knows more what they are doing with printers, but after I got the drivers downloaded, it was a piece of cake. You do need to go into the properties and make some adjustments as to the type of label (size, portrait mode, depth of ink, etc) before it works right, but after you do the labels are perfect. There is NO way to have a paper jam in this printer. NONE. The labels I bought are knock off brand and they work perfectly, and are a fraction of the cost for the same for Dymo.Remember when buying this that the USB cord does NOT come with it. I would suggest making sure you get one that is long enough to suit your needs. I plan on having a nice long relationship with this printer. One last thing I would like to say is that when I was researching what to purchase I contacted Zebra with a question. Not only did they respond quickly at a very busy (holiday) time of year, they kept up with me through my purchase and reminded me to please feel free to contact them again if I needed any help when I bought the printer. The fact that a world wide company took as much time with me, a small time operation, and made me feel like I was every bit as important as their large business caused me to have a great deal of respect for them. I am more than pleased with my purchase.

Factory Packaging. Original New, meaning BRAND NEW i.e. like you buy from Zebra Shop
Just from the factory. All new and good. But keep in mind this is Direct Transfer, so labels you print on it will not be heat resistant, they will fade away with time, so if you plan to tag your items in the warehouse is better to use T version, which require ink ribbon, that option will be another printer. But I assume you know what you buy. So this seller and printer is good. Once again, this is a really new in the English meaning of a word "new" = nobody used it before, it was just assembled and delivered to you. It is not a second hand item :)

Didn't work like a new printer should.
I ordered 4. One worked well, and I have used it without issue to print about 1000 labels. I am happy with that one and will keep it. However the others had major issues new out of the box. With 2 of them, The gears that feed the labels would click and stall and fail to print constantly (almost like a poorly assembled refurbished printer, or one that has been in use for years and has worn out.). If I did get a label to print and feed properly, it would come out with lines through it and patches that didn't print well enough to be read by a barcode scanner. Even after adjusting the darkness and feed speed, they still failed consistently. My employees and I think that perhaps the printers we received were refurbished. New ones don't behave like that in our experience. I use zebra printers almost exclusively in my line of work, and I have never had new printers out of the box like this fail to work until now. I returned three of the four printers for a refund. Although the printers arrived looking new, they functioned (or didn't function) like old worn our printers from the beginning.

Excellent product. ZEBRA is the best.
Don't purchase any thing else. Makes printing all shipping labels a breeze. Make sure you have a cable. I use USB which I recommend. Works with my shopify store, USPS and eBay. Highly recommended.
