Excellent colour and distribution
Great colour and even distribution. A little goes a long way. Great stuff. Highly recommend it. Made my old gas fire look brand new. I would recommend a few light coats. I sprayed a light coat, left it for 24 hours to dry and repeated it twice over three days and the finish was brilliant.

Professional quality product that gives a great finish.
Great product. Has sprayed the surround of my gas fire very well. Easy to use and gives a professional finish. Would highly recommend. Colour blends in well if you have a brushed chrome fret. Saved me £££ as now don’t have to buy a new fire as changed from brass to chrome finish. Very pleased with end result.

Excellent product
I bought this product to change the colour on a magnetic surround and fret for a gas fire.It was easy to use and has totally and successfully transformed the look of the fireplace.Strange thing is, it was about half the price on Amazon to that of ordering the same thing on the companies own website! Very very pleased with it.

Silver fireplace paint
Very smooth to coat fireplace frame/fittings. Trouble is it scratches so easily. Don't know if it's exactly fireproof but won't be turning gas fire on anyway

Gave my BBQ a new lease of life
My BBQ caught fire a couple of years ago and burned a big patch of paint off the lid after a particularly oily fish, general neglect and lack of attention. Its been hit by all sorts as well - balls, flying trampolines, parasols, etc. It finally got to crunch time of tidy it up or get a new one, but I like how this one cook, and I'm used to it so 'tidy it up' won. After a good sanding to get rid of the worst of the rust and burn marks, and prime the surface elsewhere, then degrease with some meths, the paint went on pretty well - lots of quick strokes and let it dry in between. I'm pretty happy with the result - I mean, you can tell its been repainted, but thats mostly due to the prior damage. After a month out in the elements and several BBQs, the paint is holding up well. I have my old, slightly weathered and battered outdoor cooking friend back for the price of a can of paint and some elbow grease, and its no longer an embarrassment to be seen cooking on it.

Magic stuff
Didn't believe the reviews because they sounded too good to be true but by jingo they were right. This stuff is great and although silver it is of a satin hue and is not in your face as some silver paints are. Easy to spray and doesn't have a tendency to run, Good coverage too. Have no idea what it will be like in a year's time so bought another tin just in case. Since no primer is needed I would suggest a light sanding with wet and dry just to give it a key. Only time will tell if it truly does take heat up to 8oo dc

Easy to use and gives excellent coverage and results
We used this to paint the brass trim on our fire rather than replacing the fire. It was very easy to use and gave an excellent finish, you would never know it had been brass. Highly recommend this product
